The staff were very nice, very accommodating. When we checked-in, a drunk man came in, shouting he was "Pere Noel" (Santa) and took a lot of sachets of coffee creamer. It was surreal and I have no idea how anyone would respond to that, let alone at 10pm, alone (if we hadn't been there) in the lobby.
The room was very basic, but was clean and not overbearing, with a window view of the railway tracks and mountain. As described, except there isn't a room with one double and one king size (as stated on this website, but not by the hotel).
The breakfast was a good continental breakfast; the highlight attraction is a fresh orange juice-squeezing machine, where you put in oranges and watch it squeeze your juice. There was pain-au-chocolat, croissants, two cheeses, a toaster, coffee machine with multiple options, slices of ham and honey/jam tubs - with orange and apple juice (separate from the machine), and water. Also, some fruit compote and yoghurt.
