Horses gallop freely along what locals claim is America's longest continuous beach, where colourful kites dance overhead during the annual Washington State International Kite Festival. Duck into Marsh's Free Museum to meet Jake the Alligator Man – part taxidermy oddity, part local celebrity. The World Kite Museum celebrates the art of things that fly, while the half-mile boardwalk offers ocean views without sandy shoes. Cape Disappointment State Park delivers anything but disappointment with its lighthouse and stunning coastal vistas. After beachcombing, examine the massive Grey Whale Skeleton before heading to the Cranberry Museum to learn why these tart berries thrive in local bogs. The Long Beach Carnival Park provides old-fashioned amusements that feel charmingly out of time.

Best Western Long Beach Inn
"Great location, friendly staff, plenty of parking and dining space. Perfect choice for me and my 2 teens."
Oceanview Inn At The Arch
"All was great!"
Inn at the Sea
"Excellent location: very close to the beach and within easy walking distance to all of downtown Long Beach. Disappointed that they don't include breakfast like they did last year."
The Fireside Inn
"the desk staff were very informative and helpful breakfast was so-so We arrived a little early and they quickly finished cleaning our room so we could get in."
Adrift Hotel
"Id okay"
The Breakers
"The grounds were comfortable and lovely. The path to the water was great. The room was very nice, the sink needed replacement but worked. The bed was comfortable. I has a worn look but I liked the room, the kitchen was well equipped. Staff were friendly. The hot tub inside was not hot. Many of he children on the property were rowdy in the hot tub and pool at one point, that is a parent issue. They should follow the rules. A sign board was fallen over from rot. She staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and encourage others to do so."
Oceanfront Inn at Discovery Coast
"Beautiful place to stay! The staff are usually really nice, but the new blonde girl needs some customer service training. She doesn’t have a friendly demeanor at all. She had a snarky attitude when I was asking questions and even talked over me when the manager came over to find out what was going on. That was not fun. Overall, though, it was a great trip!"

- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Long Beach hotel. For those seeking distinctive experiences, boutique hotels may offer a more personalised service and potentially better value. - Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, with Long Beach’s excellent public transport links, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well connected.
