We had an amazing experience from beginning to end. The staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, from Miguel in the restaurant to Roberto who took us on an excursion on the Lake. Everyone was welcoming. Will definitely be returning there with our boys. Thank you for looking after us.

The service and staff are superb!!! They are very helpful. The room is beautiful with generous amenities. The host at the rooftop, Dario, provide us and complimentary snack and drink. I will definitely stay at Vista Lago di Como for my next visit.

Richard and Alice were wonderful. The hotel, with only 10 rooms, has a very friendly and warm environment. The view is breathtaking, especially from the pool area. Breakfast was somewhat limited but nice all the same. Bottom line, a lovely experience

Great apartment. Good size with plenty storage. Great patio with fantastic views. Only negative was the cleaning charge - as you pay for the apartment to be cleaned in your departure, there were a few areas in my arrival that were not as clean as I expected.... Really lovely accommodation! The views were amazing and the apartment had everything you required. The location was perfect and not far from all restaurants We would definitely stay here again if visiting lake como!

Beautiful room with beautiful views, perfectly located close to the lake, shops, restaurants. Cannot fault the staff and their breakfast service was lovely. The bathroom was gorgeous!

A recently renovated property that feels like you're staying at vineyard, yet is only a few minutes drive from Lugano center.

Small family run hotel, friendly, helpful staff. Excellent food. Buffet breakfast, with some cooked food available, never run out of anything, extra coffee offered. Dinner menu and wine list good. Gets very busy due to location opposite water taxis. There is also a bar with snacks attached for day time. Hotel has three floors and there is a lounge room on the 1st and 2nd floors with books and some games.

The view down Lake Como from our room (No.29) was nothing short of breath taking. The staff where very very helpful and in the main spoke English (if your Italian is limited) food was very nice and reasonably priced. If you are a keen cyclist they cater with their own bikes and a workshop area. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. A bed was provided for our 12 year old son as we requested, so catering for families doesn't present any issues.The Jersey Mob

Enjoyable stay in September, close to the town with amazing views over the lake. This is not a corporate hotel which makes it more special. You have to allow that the design and style is more like someone's home rather than an part of an international chain of hotels. If you want to get a feel for 19th century elegance with modern facilities and service this is the place to stay. Live music in the evenings from classical musicians playing popular tunes added to the ambience. And of course...

Pleasant hotel with friendly staff and an excellent restaurant for dinner, very popular with local residents. Only downside was the congealed “scrambled eggs” at the breakfast buffet, which needed a strong knife to cut - such a pity because otherwise the breakfast was good. (This was my 4th visit)

We selected this hotel because of its proximity to the main railway station in Lugano (we were touring using a Swiss rail pass) and it proved an excellent choice. Check-in was swift and straightforward, and our room - with balcony - at the front of the hotel gave views across the lake to the mountains beyond. All the facilities in the room were in good order and the free wi-fi was easy to access. Good soundproofing meant that we were not disturbed at all by traffic on the adjacent rail...

Well, what can I say!! The last time I visited, I was 15 years old back in 1989 with family. I returned with much anticipation worried that I may not have as wonderful time as I remember all those years ago but Stella did not fail to disappoint. Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable room, we had a lovely view of the river and mountains, the beds and pillows were very comfortable also. There was a fridge in the room, a large flat screen TV, and the shower was good with hot water any time of the day. The breakfast was amazing with everything and more included, continental but you would not think so with eggs, bacon, sausage cooked meats, cheeses, freshly baked rolls, cereals, not to mention all the pastries and cakes and panacotta...

Lovely hotel close to Como centre which we stayed at on our return from southern Italy. Easy walk to the centre and close to public parking albeit this is expensive.

The location for our purpose was ideal. The staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel was well-maintained and had aspects of old-world elegance; and was certainly comfortable. The breakfasts offered a diversity of good things in a dining room that was spacious and charming.
