We have just had a two night stay at The View Hotel. Its location was fantastic for us as we were going to 2 gigs a few minutes walk away. Easy to park the car out the front in the bays (a few pounds a day). Our room was lovely, upgraded to king size and part sea view. Breakfast to die for..everything you could possibly want. It wasn’t a problem for us as we were out till late…but it’s Christmas party season and on both nights parties were banging till midnight …so no early night folks as the...

The Bay Lodge was exactly what I hoped for - very reasonably priced, no frills accommodation, a friendly family-oriented atmosphere, (being a small concern allows for a much more personalised service), and good quality breakfast with more than adequate options available - all in all the perfect launchpad for my week in Eastbourne.
A note of realism - if you're hoping for the Ritz Carlton this is not the place for you. If, however, you want budget accommodation done well in a classic English...

A one night stay whilst visiting the area on business. Staff very friendly and welcoming, and very helpful. I was able ot a silly arrange a late checkout to give me time to change after my meeting before getting the train home. The room was large and well appointed, very comfortable with a huge wet room bathroom. Room was spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable, and the room had a sea view (the hotel is right on the beach!) We had an amazing stay and the hosts were very attentive from the minute we arrived to when we left and nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and really clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were lovely. We will definitely visit again and this would be the only place we would stay in Eastbourne.

A lovely hotel which was recently renovated. The staff are brilliant and super helpful. Although we did not use the restaurant it looked very good. There was a beautiful cocktail bar too.
Our room was on the 4th floor and reached by a gorgeous old lift complete with seats!! The room itself was a little shabby in parts but the views were magnificent. Bathroom was large and very nice. Excellent coffee in the rooms and they all come with access to Netflix etc.
Would definitely stay here again....

This guesthouse was perfect in every way. The single room was a little on the small side, but I expected that, and it was immaculate. By which, I mean spotless and without fault. Keith, who welcomed me to the A&V was the perfect host, and when I had to be up earlier than normal for Eastbourne Extreme I was attending, he cooked breakfast earlier so I wouldn't miss out. Basically, everything I wanted, I got with a smile. And it is 100 feet from the beach. I'm sure there are other places in...

This was the third time my wife and I have stayed at Wingrove House and we enjoyed it just as much as before. The food was excellent (both the breakfasts and the dinner), the rooms clean and well maintained with stunning views from ours across to Alfriston church.
The staff were very polite and eager to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.
We would throughly recommend.

We only stayed for the one night but we will definitely be returning. The owner/staff are lovely, the room and amenities were superb and the breakfast is the best we’ve ever had, cooked perfectly and it just tasted lovely. Can’t recommend this place enough. Hastings Old Town is a great little place too.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Pevensey
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Pevensey is between January and March, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For a fulfilling experience that allows you to delve into the area’s notable landmarks and cultural heritage, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. You can enjoy the historical castle, relax on the charming pebble beach, and savour a budget-friendly meal at a local bar, all while making the most of your trip without breaking the bank. Exploring Pevensey during this period not only provides great value for money but also offers a chance to connect with friendly locals and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers a range of discounted hotel deals in Pevensey. By checking the Dealsopens in new window section, you may discover attractive offers, while the Last-Minute Deals area could prove useful for those seeking cheap Pevensey hotel deals near your travel date. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app is a handy comparison tool to help you assess hotel prices and amenities. Enabling email alerts or push notifications will ensure you're more likely to see flash sales and special promotions as soon as they become available.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, having some flexibility with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your stay in a Pevensey hotel. If you're in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and, at times, improved value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could offer more affordable options.
Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with higher costs. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, allowing you to balance price with accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located a bit further away, as they are usually more likely to be affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
