Hotel and grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Each room is decorated with its own unique and colorful style, and there are several options to choose from - suite, cottage, or entire Victorian mansion. Complimentary snacks, mini bar, and filtered water (bottles are able to be refilled in the ice house) were a nice touch. Location is great - walkable to downtown but also quiet and relaxing with a pool and hot tub. No staff on site, but they are able to be reached for any questions or concerns by text or phone call. We would definitely stay here again and want to try each of the charming rooms!

This was our second stay in the La Hermosa suite and it was perfect! My husband and I love this property, the room is beautiful and so thoughtfully appointed. The complimentary snacks and drinks are very nice. The pool area is wonderful. During the first stay they brought breakfast in the morning, but they do not offer it anymore. Not sure if this is a seasonal or permanent change, but we did miss it. Nonetheless The Menagerie is just fantastic!

We enjoyed our stay. The property does not have onsite staff / lobby which is important to know as you consider logistics. We didn't feel that we missed on anything, it just requires different expectations as everything is handled through text. The service through text was pretty prompt. We loved the White Lotus ambiance and the spacious rooms. We also appreciated the in room complimentary minibar items as it's a nice touch without the footprint of a lobby bar. The location is great as well; walking distance to Main St. but tucked into the neighborhood which is quiet. We will be back.

This was a most memorable stay! All you need to unpack is your clothes, all your needs are ready for you! You are welcomed with drinks and snacks, ice, water in your room! The coffee is great! The fresh water bottles! Ice in the bucket! It’s very clean, smells amazing, looks amazing! The room name totally represents your stay! La Hermosa! Thank you, Menagerie!

This is now my go to place for visiting Fredericksburg. The room was outstanding, probably the best room I’ve ever stand in on a trip. The staff is friendly and helpful. This should’ve everyone’s place for visiting wine country.

The room was incredible. The fixtures, amenities, lighting, architecture, vibe, everything about this place was spectacular. It’s quiet, and beautiful. The linens and bed are so comfortable, there is ample space to lounge on property or in your room, specifically the Esperanza room! There is no desk/ onsite person, but you do not need it! They have thought through everything you need and I had no doubt they would help quickly if anything was wrong, very responsive.
