Ci è stato assegnato un altro appartamento,da quello che noi avevamo prenotato..al ritiro della chiavi ho trovato un foglio con indicazione di un altro indirizzo,il taxi che abbiamo prenotato ovviamente ci ha lasciato in palestra Isla ed è andato via...noi alle ore 20 abbiamo dovuto chiedere informazioni x arrivare all'indirizzo dell'appartamento..abbiamo girato mezzo centro storico a piedi con i bagagli..non hanno fatto nessun messaggio x avvertirci prima..arrivati a destinazione..le scale dell'appartamento erano vecchie sporche e mal odoranti, l'appartamento non era male,ma i letti piccolissimi e scomodi,la cucina con piastre che non funzionavano.....lo consiglio solo x la posizione

Very good stay, would be perfect with a decent bed
The apartment was very well appointed and very secure. The bed was poor - very hard and very squeaky, in fact, one of us had to sleep on the couch to reduce noise on movement. Great location, very good service apart from the bed it was a good stay. Oh and perhaps some cleaning under the bed would be good.

באתר משקרים לכם במצח נחושה. אין דבר כזה DESIGNAPPARTMENTS. יש להם דירות בכל רחבי העיר העתיקה וברחוב PALASTA 10 נמצא רק משרד ומשם תצטרכו ללכת כרבע שעה -עשרים דקות עד הדירה. הפתעה לא נעימה אם אתם באים עם מזוודות גדולות . חלק מהדירות בקומות גבוהות בלי מעלית ועם מדרגות צרות.

Warning!
We turned at the door to the apartment and booked in to another hotel! Our first contact with the reception staff should have been enough to make us leave straight away. There was no level of service at all and the person behind the front desk appeared completely uninterested and rude. We arrived to early to check in and was told that our apartment would be ready for us after 14.30 Arriving at 15.30 we were met by the cleaning staff telling us to sit down, that was apparantly the only thing they knew to say in English as they only spoke Russian. After waiting for 15 minutes the man from the reception came and carried on past us never looked at us once! After another 5 minutes of beeing ignored, we even tried to get his attention by talking to him, we were told to follow him to the apartment. The location was really good but the smell from the hall outside was horrendous and the apartment was located in the attic of an old building two floors up only reached by an old, worn and dangerously steep stairs. The apartment he showed us was nothing like the one we chose and paid for and we instantly felt unsafe to stay there, not knowing if anyone could come in during the night!? We decided there and then not to carry out our reservation, still paying the price in full even though we didn't get the apartment we booked. The man couldn't understand why we decided what we did and said "we couldn't do that"... He left us on the street seemingly offended! NEVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!

Charming apartment in the heart of Old City
Conveniently located just a short walk from Livu square, Riga Dom, Blackhead (Melngavu) House and City Hall. Cafe, restaurants, souvenir shops are all around as you step on the cable-stone streets of the Old City.

Dette boalternativ kan ikke benyttes. Sendte min bestemor med følge og de fikk vente flere timer på rom etter sin ankomst. Selv etter oppmøte kl. 15. De ble sendt med taxi til en helt annen plass av byen og rommet var uryddig og møkkete. Utsikten fra rommet var rett ned i avfallsrommet og det er insekter inne på rommet som har bitt huden på begge reisefølge. Dette kan ikke være tilfelle og vil komme tilbake med mer info om hva som har skjedd under denne reisen. Få dette alternativ ut av de valg som er under Riga. Jeg kjenner byen og forholdene svært godt og dette vil følges opp som en klage og bli en reklamasjon!

Wenn man Lettland live erleben will und günstig
Aussen sieht das Haus aus wie baufällig .Man meint es werde abgerissen.Ich bin reingekommen eine Absteige.Eines morgens um 6 Uhr läutet ein Betrunkener vielleicht hat er im Treppenhaus geschlafen und konnte nicht mehr raus weil er ja kein schlüssel hatte.Die andere NachT fängt ein Alarm an zu pfeiffen.so alle 30 sekunden es war ein Teil des Feueralarms darum hab ich es aus Angst die Feuerwehr sollte kommen nicht angerührt.Der im Büro wollte mir nicht helfen hat aber gesagt der Alarm sei nicht aktiv .Hab dann rumgedrückt bis es aufhörte.

Sentral beliggenhet og god plass
Vi bodde i en leilighet i 3.etg. rett i nærheten av St. Peterkirka, og dermed veldig sentralt i gamlebyen. Helt ok leilighet for oss som er en familie på fem, god plass til alle var et pluss. Hvis man er i Riga for å oppleve alt byen har å by på, er designapartments helt ok, var greit nok for å ha en plass å sove og dusje. Leiligheta var noe slitt og renholdet kunne vært bedre, men igjen helt ok pga den sentrale beliggenheten og størrelsen samt prisen. Når vi ankom kontoret til designapartmens ble vi møtt av en av de ansatte på en hyggelig måte, og vi ble fulgt hele veien til leiligheta der vi ble vist rundt. Med sentral beliggenhet fulgte også en del støy fra barer og restauranter i nærheten, men det var ikke verre enn at vi alle sov godt hver natt.

God service ved ankomst, dog lidt ventetid. Lejlighed komfortabel uden at være luksuriøs. TV havde dårligt signal og virkede derfor ikke. God internetforbindelse.

Ei siivousta koko 5 päivän aikana. Ei parveketta eikä näkymää mihinkään suuntaan. Porrashuone haisee hirveälle. Suihku kiinni suihkukopissa ilmastointiteipillä. Yksikään ebookerin kuvista ei ollut huoneistosta. Läheisen baarin äänet kuuluvat hyvin sisälle. Nuorisoporukalle joka nukkuu pari tuntia baarikierroksen jälkeen ihan ok.

Pettymys!
Huoneisto sijaitsi eri paikassa kuin ennakkotiedoista oli pääteltävissä. Sisäänkirjautuminen oli monimutkaista - perhettä odotutettiin 45 min. autossa kadulla, kun kävin kävelyllä asunnon luovutuksessa (matkaa oli n. 400 m.). Kaverille ei käynyt ehdottamani siirtyminen autolla yhdessä paikan päälle (jonne olikin erittäin vaikea ajaa!) Huoneisto sijaitsi huonokuntoisessa talossa (rappukäytävä oli haiseva ja rapussa ei toiminut valaistus). Asuntoon saimme vain yhden avaimen ja ovea ei voinut lukita, niin että olisi voinut kulkea eri aikaan toisten kanssa. Huoneisto oli iso, mutta erittäin sekalaisesti sisustettu. Sängyt olivat lähinnä varavuodetasoisia ja matalia. Keittiön astiat olivat sekalaisia keräilykappaleita - neljälle ei pystynyt kattamaan samanlaisia astioita. Asunnon siivous ei ollut totutulla tasolla - eikä itsekään voinut siivota, kun ei siivouskaapissa ollut pölynimuria. Kaikin puolin melkoinen pettymys! Hinta ei ollut paha, mutta verrattuna halpaan hotelliin, olisin mielelläni maksanut erotuksen! Nimelle ei ollut katetta tällä kertaa. Olisimme vaihtaneet jonnekin muualle, mikäli ei olisi maksettu tätä ennakkoon. Ehdotan, että Hotels.com lopettaa tämän asunnon välittämisen.

ホテルではなく、誰がが住んでいるところを又貸ししているようなサービスアパートでした。 場所で選んだのですが、場所は受付のある場所で実際は受付場所から10分程歩いたところでした。石畳の道をスーツケースを転がしながら移動するのはきつかったです。案内してくれたお兄さんも無愛想で一切ヘルプしてくれることなく早歩きでついて行けず…5階まで階段でトランクを運ぶときも一切手助けなしでした。 部屋でタバコを吸ったら罰金、と書かれた紙をもらいましたが、部屋はタバコくさく、灰皿も置いてあり謎でした… 結果的に場所はよかったし、広すぎるくらいでしたが、書いてある詳細とは違うと思います。

Leiligheten var helt grei for fire personer. Den ene sengen var ikke bra, springmadrass uten overmadrass. Det var lite kjørler og bestikk og brødkniv som var ubrukelig. Beliggenheten var super, midt i byen, men trappen opp til 5.etasje og 100 trinn var ikke særlig bra. Slitsomt med tunge kofferter og bagasje. Ellers var det mye støy og bråk fra gaten og barer i nærheten hele natten. Men alt i alt var det et godt alternativ til hotell. Vi kan godt tenke oss å bo der igjen, men i en lavere etasje.
