Needs Attitude Adjustment
When it comes right down to it, ratings are based more on emotion than anything. This is a brand new building so everything was new and functional. The bed was great and the room was clean and cozy. But the night front deskman was not at all welcoming, even though he was efficient handling the check-in.
The worst part was breakfast. We made sure to be get down there fifteen minutes before the scheduled 9am closing and were sadly disappointed on almost everything being gone, including no waffle batter and no oatmeal. Worse yet was the attendants attitude. She thought it was close enough to closing time that she didn't need to provide food to us and the eight or ten people who came in after us. Everyone was talking about our disappointment in regards to the breakfast service. You can have the nicest facility in the world, but if you don't staff it with friendly, service-minded employees it will never be successful.
