Eisenhut Boutique Hotel
"Wonderful hotel in the old part of Bolzano. Very modern and trendy. Super comfortable rooms, great breakfast, helpful staff. Can’t wait to go back!"
Hotel Adria
"2nd time stayed here and everybody made us feel welcome. Beautiful hotel. Amazing staff. Amazing breakfast. By far one of Italy's best hotels."
Falkensteiner Hotel Bozen WaltherPark
"The room was clean and spacious. We only stayed for one night on our way to the dolomites. Staff were ok not friendly nor rude. The only thing i have to say is that the breakfast buffet was full of bugs I couldn’t eat anything. Nothing had a cover flies everywhere."
Artnatur Dolomites
"Excelent breakfast and really clean rooms. If you come by car parking is not assured. We got parking the second day of our stay."
Residence Villa Hedy
"Great location, a short walk from the town centre and the excellent Merano therm baths (the pool photo in the pictures with the property). The room was really nice with AC, it was large and well equipped. There is a pretty patio on the roof. With nice views of the mountains. The parking onsite is really useful but quite expensive. A lovely place."
Villa Bavaria
"This property lives up to all the online photos. It was absolutely lovely, beautiful breakfast, fast to the old town (once we worked out to walk over the old bridge). Staff were fantastic. Gorgeous place. Would definitely stay again."
Hotel Ansitz Plantiz
"It was beautiful"
ImperialArt
"This boutique hotel is central to everything. The staff was absolutely wonderful! I ended up adding a night so I got to experience a couple of different rooms. Both of which were on the front side and absolutely lovely. Personally, I liked the first room. I had a little bit more, although it was the more basic room, the second room I had was on the third floor, and it definitely felt a lot more private, was quite a bit larger, had a great balcony, and a lovely view of the mountains. I definitely would consider staying again."
Residence - Palais Hörtenberg
"Nice apartment room. Beautiful view. Great location. Ac and wifi! Ac great staff."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Merano
- Book for the cheapest times: For those seeking a budget-friendly escape, Merano presents itself as an attractive destination on a budget, especially in January, March, and November, when hotels might offer lower prices. A stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended to fully appreciate the town's rich history and culture, with visits to museums, monuments, cathedrals, churches, and other cultural attractions that highlight its artistic and historical heritage. This period is ideal for exploring its historical landmarks, enjoying art, and discovering the value for money that Merano provides, all whilst keeping an eye on affordability.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers enticing merano hotel deals where you may discover cheap merano hotel deals in the DealsOpens in a new window section. By exploring the Last-Minute Deals area, you're more likely to see discounted rates on hotels close to your travel date. For added convenience, enable email alerts or push notifications to remain informed about flash sales and special promotions. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool, a comparison feature available via the app, lets you compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you are promptly notified if rooms become available or prices drop for a last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay at a Merano hotel. For those in search of unique accommodations, boutique hotels might provide a more personalised experience and potentially offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will indicate if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it is on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels in close proximity to the city centre usually command higher prices, though Merano’s excellent public transport links mean you might discover a more affordable independent hotel further afield that is still well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations may offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
