Our host, Rebecca, is obviously passionate about the guest experience. The Cordelia is a magnificent period property full of charm and warmth. The room was amazing - being roomy and well presented with period furniture, quality bedding and towels. The breakfast was probably the best we've had, made with top quality ingredients. It took us a whole day of walking to work it off! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We stayed in Adelphi cottage for two nights as we were attending a wedding just outside the village. My daughter of 10 years absolutely loved it as so did I, it was like home from home, very clean and spacious with fantastic decor the beds were very comfy and the linen was of very good quality. We would definitely stay there again or recommend this facility to anyone. A fabulous find.

We received a warm welcome. Our large, airy room featured a huge, comfortable bed and a small but well appointed shower room. The decor was beautiful throughout. The breakfast choice was amazing - great for vegetarians and vegans also. Parking was on-street, but easy to find and free for 3 hours with a disc (from reception) and between 5pm and 9am.

Very welcoming, we had booked a small room with sea view but were upgraded to a large room. Everying was spot on with two comfortable chairs in a large bay window allowing us to sit and take in an absolutely superb panoramic view of the South Bay and headland. The bed was extremely comfortable, the breakfast superb with an excellent choice and the staff very friendly. I really am struggling to find anything to to complain about, however trivial! Would thoroughly recommend.

Stayed here several times.
The hotel is excellent, the staff are amazing, the food is so gorgeous - just too much of it !
The rooms (and we have several different ones) are warm, inviting and immaculate.
All have TVs and tea making facilites with an ample choice of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, all are en-suite and the bathrooms
are spotless along with a good supply of towels and comp toiletries.
Plenty of car parking space
The only downside to this place is time passes too quickly...

My wife and myself stayed at the Miricia for the weekend and it was fantastic! The hotel was lovely and Joanne was friendly and welcoming. The room had a superb view and it was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding! The hotel is situated on the north side but it is only a ten minute walk across town to get to the south side of Scarborough. We would recommend the Miricia Hotel to all who are looking for somewhere to stay when visiting Scarborough

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Scarborough
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Scarborough tends to be in January, February, and October, when hotel prices are generally lower. For a truly enriching experience, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days allows you to discover the town's key landmarks and cultural heritage. You can explore the stunning sea views, visit the historic castle, and enjoy the local theatre scene—all while benefiting from budget-friendly options. With its charming beaches, friendly locals, and various entertainment choices, Scarborough offers great value for money, making it an ideal destination for families and those travelling on a budget.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Scarborough, visit the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Deals section on Hotels.com, where you're more likely to see discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay updated on flash sales and special promotions, so you don't miss any chances to save. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you find the best hotel deals. You'll be notified if prices drop or new rooms become available, making your last-minute getaway easier to book.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, having some flexibility with your travel dates could potentially help you secure a more affordable stay in a Scarborough hotel. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that may help you find a more favourable deal.
Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be pricier, but thanks to Scarborough's superb public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
