ABode Canterbury
"Wish there was a fridge in the room"
Shenandoah House
"We could see the sea from our room and it was just a short walk to the nearest beach. We were able to bring our dog and our room had it's own bathroom. Although we didn't have breakfast, it smelled great and there were lots of helpful things in the general guest room."
Hampton by Hilton Canterbury
"I love that the hotel was centrally located next to everything I needed. The breakfast was delicious and consistent daily, the room was spacious and clean. I will be back!"
Fort Road Hotel
"Lovely quaint place . Great breakfast and lovely friendly staff with a perfect location"
Holiday Inn Express Canterbury by IHG
"Fantastic stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly."
The Beetroot
"I loved my stay at The Beetroot. Michael was really helpful, and lovely to meet; he also gave me an early check-in which was great. Sam who was doing work around the car park was also really nice and really helpful. The room itself was perfect - comfortable bed, great selection of teas and I loved the decor of the bathroom. The location was perfect, too - so close walking distance to everything: restaurants, cafes, the beach, and all the tourist attractions. I only wish I could have stayed longer but I didn't have time in my itinerary. I will have to come back, would stay here again in a heartbeat, and I would highly recommend it to anyone."
The Hussar
"The lady who checked me in was friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. The ensuite facilities were good."

- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find better rates for your stay in a Margate hotel. If you’re seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you discover a more favourable rate.
- Consider your location: Opting for accommodation nearer to key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it frequently comes with higher expenses. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
