Beneath Mount Dajti's shadow, this revitalised capital buzzes with unexpected energy. Skanderbeg Square forms the vibrant heart where locals gather amid colourful, competing buildings. Duck into Bunk'Art 2, a communist-era nuclear bunker turned thought-provoking museum. The National History Museum, with its striking socialist mosaic façade, houses treasures spanning Illyrian times to post-communist rebirth. Outdoor cafés overflow with patrons sipping espresso and raki while debating football matches. The block area reveals trendy bars where young Albanians create a surprising nightlife scene. For the best views, ride the Dajti cable car for a forest escape minutes from the urban bustle.

Si Hotel
"I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Si! The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, the property was clean and easily accessible and the breakfast buffet delicious. It’s in a great location (10min walk from the central square and Blloku), and my balcony view was extraordinary. I strongly recommend and would go back tomorrow. Thank you Hotel Si staff!!!"

Mercure Tirana
"Mercure Hotel is a clean, well-maintained property. It's located near a major intersection on the western outskirts of Tirana. There are two things I liked about the hotel. First, it is clean and new for the price range. Not fancy, but I did not experience any inconvenience during my stay. Second, the breakfast buffet was really good, much better than most four-star hotels in Western Europe. In addition to eggs and sausages, they had vegetable dishes, mushrooms, various kinds of cheese (not just European cheese but also more Middle Eastern cheese), five or six different kind of jams, different kinds of yogurt, fresh fruit, bread, and more. There is also an absolutely pleasant female worker there. She greets every guest and asks how we are doing in a super cheerful manner but not in an annoying way. She was a delight to see every morning. The hotel should give her a big raise! The most serious drawback I had was the location of the hotel. Because it's outside the main area of the city, there are so few restaurants to go out for dinner. I ended up eating dinner at the hotel, which was very disappointing unlike the excellent breakfast. I think they microwave everything in the kitchen, which is really problematic for dinner that pretends to be a bit fancy. So if you stay here, make sure to eat in town before coming back to the hotel."
Hotel Colosseo Tirana
"GOOD LOCATION WITH CLOSE BY AMENITIES"

- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a better deal for your stay in a hotel in Tirana. For those in search of a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may also offer improved value. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we might suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, assisting you in your search for a good value.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, with Tirana's superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located further afield that still offers good accessibility.
