I liked this clean, modern hotel. Its one drawback for me (and anybody without a car) was the fact that it was nowhere near the bus system. A 20-minute walk west to Ingolstadt Village or south to Mailing was necessary to reach a bus stop (INVG, the Ingolstadt bus company, is incredibly efficient and all timetables are on the web as PDFs and strictly adhered to). I was at a conference in the city
centre, so the walk was refreshing, if a bit of a bind after a long day. However, if you have a car, it is perfectly fine and the staff are very helpful - the owner even drove me to the bus stop on a couple of mornings. There's no restaurant, just the room where the breakfast buffet is served, so eat in Ingolstadt itself or order-in a pizza (they will give you the details). It would perhaps have helped if Expedia had made it clear that there is no public transport nearby, but now I've told you, so you are forewarned. By all accounts, colleagues who were in the city centre paid more and had smaller rooms, but that's not surprising.
