A lovely new & modern hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the service from all staff was great. The pool area is spacious & comfortable and will be even better once the final bits of construction are finished and the pool bar is open. We dined in the restaurant each night and enjoyed the varied menu & excellent wine selection. Breakfast is also good with plenty of buffet & a la carte options. My family thoroughly enjoyed a very relaxing time here and would recommend.

Amazing stay at Hotel Spadai that is conveniently located close to the Duomo and the heart of the Florence city.
It was a last minute booking for us as we had trouble with blackout at another hotel down the street.
The stay at the hotel albeit turned out to be nice surprise with an upgrade from double to a Junior suite.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the Grand Hotel Minerva. The location is minutes from the train station on a lovely pedestrianised piazza, and walking distance to the main attractions. The staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay - we hadn’t booked tickets to the sights but they managed to get us tickets for the Accademia to see the statue of David. Breakfast was fabulous, running until 10.30 on Saturday and 11am on Sunday, so no need to rush out of bed. We spent a lot...

Very pleased with our hotel, it had both character and a touch of luxury! Beautiful dining room also where we had breakfast, but service could certainly be improved there. Still it would not put us off staying here again when we return to Florence.

Reception staff efficient and polite. Booked standard room but stayed in larger room /suite which would be ok for family. Bed a little hard would be only criticism. Ideal location. Rooftop bar a sun trap.

Don’t usually write review about hotel very often. And then usually to complain about a bad experience. But this time because the staff were so exceptional and the standard of the room and service were outstanding, I felt I needed to write something to praise the experience. Great room, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and seemed not only happy to help but keen to help in every way, fantastic breakfast and afternoon tea\coffee an added bonus. Oh and forgot to mention it’s a great...

We have travelled all over the world and have to say our 4 day trip to Florence was fantastic and made even better by the hotel, the room and the staff could not have been better. Nothing we asked of them was a problem no matter how small and the hotel location is perfect.

We paid high rates for a Junior Suite in a top hotel and the unexpected upgrade provided 'excellence and perfection'.
It was a concern however that the pillows on the settee had 'pictures of dogs'. Was this the suite for specified small handbag sized canines as mentioned in the brochure? As a person allergic to dog hair I kept out of the area!
Breakfast provided a wide variety and sufficient to eat but the quality of the fruit was disappointing - it was lacking variety which was out of...

Hotel is beautiful. Staff, exceptionally friendly, especially Fabien, the bar waiter! Room (delux) was quaint, quite small, but lovely and clean. Room also had an excellent coffee maker. Result. Loads of beautiful winding streets, outstanding architecture and loads of fab cafés and resturants all within seconds of the hotel. Thoroughly recommend this hotel!
