An old village hotel in a pleasant setting just off main thoroughfare. We were well received and made very comfortable. The only issue that was of concern is that we were quite tired after a day's driving and the excellent evening meal had to be taken at leisure. We waited almost an hour before we got our first course in a small beautiful dining room which have every appearance of being adequately staffed. Extremely helpful and friendly staff - even remembering how we liked our coffee at breakfast. I’m a restless sleeper so personally don’t like quilts that don’t have a cover, just sheets on top and underneath but otherwise the room was very good and cleaned beautifully. Great location.

I stayed here many years ago when it was The Florida Prata. The standard of the rooms today as K2 is a huge improvement on the old hotel; ours was very nice, comfortable and quiet. I didn't eat in the hotel, but the bar is always lively and the staff are great. The hotel's location is ideal, right in the centre of the village. One thing lacking is the availability of an iron for guests' use. It seems, though, that this is a common issue in Sauze and in Italian hotels generally.
