Hotel improvements considerations
I believe the kindness courtesy and responsive attitude of the staff stopped me from giving this hotel a lower review. I believe this review is for the owner of this establishment in taking on board my observations and making improvements, in providing his/her future customers with an improved experience. Please see below under improvements.

Definitely not 4 Stars
Very tired hotel with a lot of issues that make it closer to a 2 star hotel. Some staff were helpful and lovely. Rooms were cleaned well but noisy.
Annoying that the images in the website are not what you get!!

Ok... I guess.
The hotel had a few positives: price, friendly staff, and close general proximity to the town and ticket booth. The hotel employs it's own fleet of tuk tuk drivers so finding a ride is easy (although perhaps not as cheap as it otherwise should be). The pool is nice enough and good for a post-temple trip swim. The internet is fast and reliable.
There are also unfortunately some negatives: the rooms are in dire need of a makeover. Our shower leaked, there was visible mold stains in the bathrooms. We ordered dinner one night at the service was awful. They were out of a lot and the stuff we did order took forever. The staff tried hard to sell their services - van trips, etc. that weren't always in the best interest of our group. They played bass-heavy music at the pool really loud during the day so it shook our room...even if the only people at the pool was the staff! The first night, they hosted a small company party at the pool (which is just outside the rooms) until midnight where the music and attendees were loud. They don't have real coffee available (only instant) at breakfast or during the day.
This place wasn't bad if you're looking for a cheap room in Siem Reap with friendly staff. Unfortunately, they didn't offer much else.

6 night stay
March stay
Negatives:
Charged for airport transfer despite being told that was included
Some reception staff had little interest in service and were always looking for opportunities to sell services, to the point of being quite awkward and persistent at times
Top floor of the hotel resembles a building site if you ever wonder up there
In heat its quite a walk into more central town locations for dinner/lunch/shopping etc
Positives:
Large rooms, well maintained
Quite location aside from some wildlife noises
Staff other than some reception staff (above) are friendly and helpful
Pleasant pool area to sit out at
English TV channels including movies

Hotel located in a alley
We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Hotel is located in a alley instead of the main street. The alley is lack of street lights so it is a bit dangerous to walk through at night. There is a tuk tuk stand by at the hotel to take us to the pub street/old market for $3 USD. The hotel facilities and decorations are a bit old but still acceptable. Our room has a balcony but there was water and plants in front of the balcony that attracts a lot of mosquito and other insects. The bed is quite comfortable and clean. There are 3 or 4 electric sockets in the room and bathroom for us to use. There was some dirt in the bath tub so we did not use it. We used the shower but there was a dead insect in the shower one time. The water quality is not good, yellowish colour. The hotel room looks a lot older than the pictures on the website. The breakfast is free and the same everyday, includes western and cambodia styles.
Overall, I was a bit disappointed with standard of this hotel as it was quite different from what it was described on the website. However, it is still a good option with the worth of the price.

Hotel below minimum expectations
Hotel quite badly maintained. Dirty pool n room, especially toilet. Once a day room turnover only changed towel n tidy bed, room wasn't cleaned. When we checked in, no staff helped with our luggages to second floor without lift, even though we have children to manage. Check in staff not friendly. Overall, disappointed with the hotel with the price we paid. Given a choice, we would cancel and move to another hotel.

Quiet location
The hotel is about a 10-15 minute tuk tuk ride from Pub Street and the old/market. It is off a busy active street with a large wet market. The location is very quiet and a very nice property. The staff were very friendly and did every thing to make our stay enjoyable. The free breakfasts was very good and the restaurant service very good western and Khmer food. We were a family of 5 staying in family suite. Two a joining rooms with a king in one and King and single in the other. Room and washroom was very clean and each room had a fridge. We had a very good stay!

A lovely stay in Siem Reap
We stayed at the Angkor Hertiage Hotel during our stay in Siem Reap. We had a pleasant stay, the rooms were very spacious and breakfast was fine, the highlight for us was the pool which was always empty so we had to ourselves. The staff were quite pushy with making us book trips / extras from us. We had room service and the guy who delivered our food didn't leave the room until I said I would think about it, whilst leaving our food to go a bit cold. Overall I would stay here again if I would visit the Angkor Wat again, tuk tuk driver Mr Dan was great driver who took us everywhere we needed to go.

Suitable for families, friendly staff.
Rooms are very large and there's ample space for moving around. Balcony view is soothing. The bathroom is clean. Beds are made daily. Location is rather remote but worth the while as it is calm and peaceful. Tuk-tuk is available to take you anywhere you like. The pool water is warm and nice at anytime, even at night. Nice hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast is made up to your taste. I would certainly recommend this place to my friends.

Don't force people to write more can't we keep it simple I am getting tired of this program that keep saying need to write more. If you want a bad review then I can. Stupid survey. Making my experience very bad now. Why do I have to write so much. I am not trying to write a novel here for other to read about. Short and simple is all it take. This is getting very annoying

Fine hotel, but some issues
Enjoyed the affordability of the hotel and relative seclusion from the crowds and crush of No. 6 Road. Unfortunately, my tuk tuk drivers often had no idea where the hotel was and it often took a lot of misdirection before anyone could find it. Not sure if it's due to its relative seclusion or the fact that there's also another Heritage hotel. Overall the hotel was nice, the spa was reasonably priced and the staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the staff had poor English skills which wouldn't really be a big problem if they didn't often confuse my requests with those of others. Probably the biggest issue I had was when I tried to check out and pay for the fees I'd racked up and they couldn't get their credit card machine working, which then required that I go to an ATM, pay a fee and withdraw money to pay them in cash. There are so many hotels in the area I'm not sure if there are better options or not. Overall, my stay was reasonable but I would recommend doing more thorough research before deciding on a place, if you plan on staying for 3+ nights.

Nice and quiet, good service
Clean and comfortable, nice environment and good breakfast.
A Du-du were sent to picked us up at the airport by the hotel, with 3 adults, 3 pieces of luggage and 3 backpacks, we hardly squeezed in, and almost sitting on top of each other, after we complained to the manager, he arranged to have a 4 door sedan brought us to the air-port when we left. What a good service!!

Not bad
We booked us in here for 6 nights as it looked good on all sites, the revues were good etc.
Sadly, the day we landed we were taken to another hotel, they did have their pick up service drop us to a hotel quite close to the airport with no warning!
Not to be in fair to them, the replacement hotel was awesome, they were villas with an absolute resort ambience all in a gorgeous setting.
TresorDAngkor where we were taken to had amazing service & the staff were apologetic for us to have to shift again in 2 days with toddler. They even offered us dinner on the house on the last night there.
Well, when we went back to Angkor Heritage, I did bring up the topic & let them know I'd have appreciated a little advanced notice of the change. The reasons firstly for the replacement was downright silly (they had the road in front being renovated but we saw no change or work having being done)
They had nothing to say, not even an apology. That kind of irked me but if not for his little story, I'd not mind this place, albeit a lil away from the city hub (probably a good thing) it has a lot to offer.

Great Boutique Hotel close to Phsar Leu
Very cozy and a beautifully designed boutique hotel. Large room and very comfortable. Breakfast has a lot of varieties and tasty. Staffs are very helpful and polite. This hotel is off Route 6 and right opposite Phsar Leu (market). Safe and convenient to walk out for shopping at the morning/evening market. It's about less than 15mins tut-tut ride (USD$1/person) to Old Market / Pub Street.
