A lot of people warned me to stay away from this hotel, but I found it alright. Almost everything about the Mirador was quite satisfactory. The staff were pleasant and polite. I asked for a late check-out (by one hour) and they allowed it. The room was clean and of more than adequate size. At the ground floor, there was an Indian restaurant which had good food, low-priced drinks and a nice staff.
There were only two problems which I encountered. The first problem was with room service. I called down and the person answering the phone was very weak at English. I decided to order something which could almost universally be understood: a cheeseburger with fries. But they didn't get that right! They brought me a cheese sandwich in a hamburger bun. I'm sure they would have been accommodating if I had sent it back, though. The second problem was more significant. Prior to check-out, I asked the front desk several times to help me get an honest taxi driver to take me to the airport. They told me they'd be sure of it, but I wound up getting a sleaze ball who overcharged me and tried to get me to go to other places so he could soak me for more money. If you are at the Mirador and you need an honest taxi driver, I think you should ask someone other than at the front desk for help.
