We had a reservation booked early in June on Expedia in Brit hotel, Granville France, on the 8 of August. As usual expedia sends reminders of reservations prior to check in . We never received a cancellation or any problem of this sort before 8 August. Upon our arrival at the hotel , 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 8 being tired all day long, we were surprised to know that our reservation was cancelled with no reason ( probably overbooking) except system failure from the hotel. They didn’t have a room for us in close hotels except in Brit Hotel in Saint Lo 53 kms away with same price as we reserved in Granville. We went to Brit Saint Lo only to discover that the staff in Granville was lying to us . The manager and staff wanted to sell us 2 rooms with double price, ignoring the fact that we didn’t create the issue . Brit hotel did. I don’t recommend this hotel , knowing that this is the first time it happens with me. This hotel have no respect to clients .
