Appallingly bad
Absolutely hopeless and useless. I had booked via hotels.com but the reception desk said they had no record of the booking. I phoned up hotels.com who confirmed the booking but reception said they had no record of it. They eventually phoned the ‘MD’ about whom no one ever saw, hid in his office, was always on a meeting. He informed reception I could stay for some reason. I think my booking was sent to his direct email but he was too useless it not bothered enough to send it to reception. The room I received was not the one advertised, no balcony, and the hot water didn’t work. Locals I spoke to said the actual rate of the room was 1200 rupees booked via the OYO app. I paid 3600 via hotels.com, so completely ripped off there as well. I have asked for a refund but as the manager of the hotel refuses to speak to them as well they cannot process the refund. In all, the worst hotel booking experience of my life. Avoid this hotel and avoid hotels.com
