Hotel Punto MX
i was impressed with the room, simple and very well designed. Great bed and linen which is why i chose this hotel. The linen and great pillows. The shower was just what i was hoping for, with good strong water pressure. The lighting in the room was well designed. I wish there were english tv channels to choose from but I know, I am in Mexico... but its a hotel! Its in a good location as well. I gave 2 stars to staff only because I asked for a 6:45 am morning call and never got it. I did get some excuse about the flow of traffic of people either arriving or departing. Morning calls should be sent via the in house telephone port and easy to schedule and program. All in all, good hotel for the price of the room. Nothing like a good night rest.

Great place to stay, would go back.
The hotel is in a great location and the room was nice. We enjoyed the view rooftop patio, the big tub in the eoom room was great,and the attention to detail was nice. In the elevator there was a picture of pancakes, eggs and bacon so we decided to try the restaurant in the hotel, we waited a long time to get a coffee, when we did get the coffee it was cold - like ice cold, we asked for another. it was only luke warm, the Manager on duty didn’t seem to care. so for the next couple days we had breakfast at VIP’s, its only two doors down from the hotel. I would definitely stay there again, to bad the restaurant is not managed the same as the hotel.

I would stay back here!!!
For a 2 day stay, it was amazing! The room was fantastic and the staff was even better! I would stay here again in the future! The location of the hotel was in walking distance of the Plaza de Constitućion and the Basilica de Catolica. For anyone wondering about food! There’s a restaurant on their main floor, but there’s also other place to eat around the area. You can always Uber to almost any location.

Hotel is clean and well maintained! I was disappointed that there were no windows or balcony in our room. The room felt very enclosed. Hotel personnel is a little to strict- When I called for the wi-fi password they told me to check my key envelope instead of just giving it to me. I also asked for an extra coffee pack as there were 2 of us and they denied my request. The gym stays locked so there maybe in extra charge?? It is clean, organized, staff is friendly and located within walking distance of a lot of historical sites and churches.

Super clean rooms. The bathroom was big and sanitized well. Front desk staff were very professional and courteous specially a young guy that checked us in he is very professional and welcoming!. Customer service horrific. As a frequent traveler I have never experienced the customer service given by hotel. It started with check-in when the hotel wanted me to pay for breakfast when my reservation included it. The hotel stated Expedia didn’t include it in the paperwork and that I should call them. I contacted Expedia who confirmed my reservation included breakfast. They called the hotel and hotel stated to Expedia that they don’t offer breakfast w/hotel. Expedia gave me option that after my stay I would get reimbursed. I not only spoke with Expedia but offered hotel that I would pay the additional fee for breakfast this way I didn’t have to collect 5 receipts to send to Expedia and hotel reiterated they didn’t have it as an option. But to my surprise the next day when I went to eat breakfast the hotel had a list of rooms that included breakfast. The hotel could have come with an agreement with Expedia if there was an error of cost that included breakfast, avoiding an additional upfront cost to customer for breakfast of 4 people. The hosts at the restaurant were not friendly only waiters giving us attitude because we were not in the breakfast list as suspicious that we were not going to pay. Made us uncomfortable. We were 4 people reserved for the room which were all adults, we were only given 1 card key. This was an inconvenience. The hotel said they had the card keys counted. On 3rd day gave us an extra key but deactivated the other, useless. Never will return.
