Simple and Cozy
I usually don't base it on the ratings online whenever I come and visit a place. I totally enjoyed our stay here. Deja Vu gives you the comfort of staying on your own home, the people are accommodating. There's a small bar that you can order food from morning til night. I recommend capping off your day on their bar, a bucket of beer with sisig plus acoustic music!Perfect!

Confusing and hard to find Hotel
Poor signage - the hotel is co-located with a restaurant (of the same owner) with a different name which has a more dominant sign. Noisy on Saturday nights because of the band playing in the other hotel. No receptionist. The curtains are not enough to block the sunlight that disturbs your sleep and warms the room. Incomplete toiletries - only towels and tissues (which we had to ask for) are provided, no bath soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.. Food and staffs are good though and the price is reasonable.

Bed and breakfast close to burnham park
Nice and warm people manning the house. Helpful staff in every possible way.
Breakfast is so-so and is usually cold.
There are dogs leashed at the entrance and at the back of house, not recommended for persons with allergy.

Memorable stay at Dejavu Bed and Breakfast Hotel
Big economy room which can accomodate upto 5 person. Noisy at night (until 11 pm) because of the public bar. Overall, the price for the overnight stay is fair enough. I'd recommend it for those who are not very particular of the room condition. The staff is very accomodating also...

The staffs were very accomodating and I like that there is a cafe downstairs whenever you need to get a grub. The only downside is that their heaters in the bathroom don't function well.

Dress in layers
No hot water in the dead of winter!! I did find by flushing the toilet constantly it got a little warmer. I'll go back in June but area just too cold for February. Staff was great but thin blankets and no heater left me breathless. Winding staircase great wood and on sight restaurant was great and stained glass windows!

Don't go
Upon entering my room, I noticed an awful smell, that permeated the bedding. The bathroom was downstairs and when I went in the smell was so horrible that I vomited.
Though I didn't feel safe, I still spent the night and in the morning I left, forgoing the breakfast.
The advertised wi-fi didn't reach the room.

Lack of generator/preparation by hotel
Lost power and water at 10 pm and never returned throughout the night nor the next day due to weather conditions and lack of backup generator. Could not shower, charge phones, or flush the toilet Staff offered no discount for the inconvenience and a paltry discount to stay another night due to the emergency. Had to venture out to find another hotel during a typhoon.
