Overbooked
I had booked a room via hotels.com for one night a few days in advance. As I called at around 6pm on the day of arrival to arrange the check in, I was informed that they were overbooked and could not provide us with the room that we had booked. The payment was, however, already made online and I have not yet received a refund or any information about the refund (4 days later). Me and my friend were effectively forced to book a room at another hotel last minute for almost three times the price as no other solution was provided by the host. Until they get their booking management straight, I cannot recommend booking here - simply to risky.
