The hotel is well kept and incredibly clean. The gym was clean and equipment was easy to use. The bedroom and bathroom were a great size and ideal for a business trip again, incredibly clean. The food, I had squid and it was quite chewy and the service was a little slow considering the restaurant was quiet. It took two hours for me to order a starter, side and dessert and eat it. I don’t think that should have taken 2 hours, as mentioned service of taking plates away was a little slow. The staff were very pleasant though. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed following a function at the hotel. They room was comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast this morning offed a wide choice. But it was disappointing that there were only cold plates for the cooked breakfasts, which was not very hot to start with, resulting in the food going cold very quickly.

Noisy bathroom doors, avoid!!

This hotel has a big problem, the heavy bathroom doors. All I could hear when in my room was people shutting the bathroom door, constantly. Really noisy and disruptive. Woke me up at 6am, and you could hear at least two door shuts every minute. Terrible design, big heavy doors that are noisy when shut. Everything else about the hotel was excellent, but this problem will mean I won't be staying there again. Mentioned it on checkout, but they acted like they'd never heard of that problem before!

No fridge in the room, no USB points, double bed was two together, yes tea & coffee, ironing board, safe; even a fan. Oh, it was cosy & warm in the room and bathroom. Decor was looking “old” but breakfast was top notch✅

Perfect break

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and this time was just as good as the first! It’s very dog friendly, our room was spacious and clean and the staff (and guests!) were all really friendly. We ate in the bar one evening. I’m a pescatarian and I had the Nourish Salad Bowl with crispy smoked tofu. I’m not always the keenest on tofu however this meal was absolutely delicious! My partner had the Sausage and Fennel Ragu and he loved that too. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Odd business model from a ‘luxury’ hotel chain, if you’re not a Gold/Silver member you won’t be given a bottle of water for your room and there are parking restrictions in some areas for the same reason.

My sister and I were booked in for a relaxing weekend treat. Stsff were very helpful. Room was clean but decor a little dated. Bed was a little too firm for me but lovely pillows. Pool was lovely and we swam every day. Very dissapointed that the scmoo spa was closed so we couldnt avail ourselves of a spa treatment. We were dissapointed with the restaurant. Rather overpriced for what was on offer. Breakfast had plenty of choice but only decaf coffee available was nescafe instant which was dissapointing.

Not worth the extra money

We normally book premier inns and pushed the boat out this time...i must say you dont get any more for your money than you do in a premier inn. The only dofference was the pool which the children enjoyed, but was that worth £350 for 2 nights? We ate in the cafe first night and the food was awful..cheese toastie was white warm bread..terrible. the staff were nice and tried to sort the issue but it took a head office complaint to get my money back for the food. I wouldnt stay again honestly, it just wasnt worth the money.
