Very nice hotel by a river in a small village. Room was very clean and shower excellent. It was nice to walk to a little local bar for a beer with my travelling companions, before a very nice and good value dinner in the hotel. Breakfast was good. Only slight downside was the open parking across the road for our motorcycles, but there were no issues. I would certainly consider staying again, and maybe using it as a base for a tour of Normandy and Brittany.

We loved the hotel. We arrived late but, in the morning, we had a lovely surprise - looking out of our window we saw a very beautiful tranquil setting - the lovely River Selune flowing by the hotel and wildflowers, long grasses, and ancient buildings. The hotel room was clean and spacious, breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were very accommodating. We would highly recommend the hotel.

Not so great. Bed was really firm and pillows uncomfortable. The curtain over the window had hooks missing and was difficult to close and didn’t really fit the window properly. We had a river view but tiny window that wasn’t worth it. Very disappointing

Great place to experience the French countryside

Great service, fast check in. Rep was very helpful with providing local information. In the very small town of Ducey. Hotel is next to the Sélune river. At night you can open the door and sleep with the calming sound of the river.

Country charm in an American hotel chain

We came in late, and the hotel called to make sure we got there before 11 pm to get best service. The Best Western was modest but comfortable, including very comfortable beds! The breakfast was charming French style. The inn was situated next to a small river, so pretty, with ample parking across the street in a dirt lot. Again, simple but not common for a French hotel in a small town. The room rates were low, but the hotel was very pleasant, well run and functional, a lot for the price

Ducey Best Western was a great stay. The staff were polite, courteous, helpful and patient with our language barrier. We had a AMAZING dinner on our first night prepared by their in-house chef. Our second-floor window opened on to the river which was picturesque. The village itself is small and quiet, with cafes, bars, restaurants and groceries walking distance from the hotel. Property was like new, but it is over a river and the room seemed a bit cold. Also there was bit of a chemical "new" smell. The staff was excellent, breakfast fantastic, neighborhood quiet, walkable, enjoyable, picturesque.
