No one was there for when we was checking in. It took 30 minutes before we was able to get hold of a staff member to check-in. The staff said they didn't think the wound get any more guests for the night and and we booked at 2-3pm. They upgraded us but the room okay. It smelled of old cigarettes. The bathtub was not clean. It had hair in it and other stains that could easily had been cleaned. There are durt markes on walls and the shelf above the counters was dusty. There was also a big dead spider on the floor in the bathroom. Atleast they had working radiators in the room. Bed was comfortable. Overall disappointed.

We had a nice stay. The hotel is convenient and what we needed, but a few things in the room weren't in the best condition such as the chair and the bathroom counter. We never met any of the staff but I'm sure they're lovely. But it was overall a good stay. Room was warm, bed was a little small but comfortable.

Pillows were flat. Spiderweb hanging from ceiling and ran out of toilet paper with a 1 night stay.

2/10 Poor

Front desk is not manned. Had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up after we texted. Only to find front desk lady to finally pop up out of a guest room. Then came to find out she booked us on the room she was just hanging out in. Bed was slanted as well as the floor. Took pictures of the uneven floor and crooked headboard. Whole hotel stunk like mold. Paid extra for “buffet” breakfast. What a joke. Don’t expect bacon and eggs. We could not get out of this hotel fast enough. Becareful reading reviews. There are 4 different crown properties and a lot of the reviews under this one.. do not pertain to this property. I would not recommend!

Clean cozy lovely
Lovely newly decorated rooms done to a high standard. The jacuzzi bath is a bonus but lovely good sized tvs very comfy bed. Would 100 percent stay here again Only complaint would be that it was boiling hot in the room heating was up full blast on arrival. Heater had to be switched off and window opened wide.

Awful!!!
Room stank of sewage! Smell came from the bathroom. Must have been a lack of a trap in the shower drain. Place was run down and not at all as depicted on the photos. No restaurant or bar as advertised.

Not the most jolly staff at reception. Asked for more pillows because the ones we had were extremely thin and we were told they were on order. We went to breakfast and there was no coffee ready and no spoons for the yogurt.

This property was ok. Room was clean staff was friendly however all the appliances and shelving in the bathroom was slanted so this made it impossible to even set my brush on the vanity without in sliding off. Aside from that it was ok.

We liked the proximity to downtown Inverness. The first night there, both hot and cold taps were HOT, BOILING HOT. Couldn't take showers that night or the next morning. Asked for them to service room each day. Never got new towels. I would not recommend this hotel.

Huge room with nice bathroom and beds. Walking distance from town centre, albeit around 1-1.5km but an easy walk. Restaurant and bar didn’t seem to active so didn’t bother, went into town instead.

The hotel was nice and clean however the staff were noticably absent. The restaurant closed prior to the appointed time in the evening and our room key was left at the desk. It was just after 8 pm. There was also no staff at checkout
