Should of been cleaner!
The hotel staff was nice, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of my room. The top sheet on the bed had huge what I hope was just a stain and it was on the part they fold down, so it very obvious. The room was dusty, the ice bucket lid had thick dust on it. And the bed made alot of popping sounds of metal when you moved around. Breakfast was ok.

Great for Frostburg college parents
First time stay for a Frostburg graduation, great hotel for the price and not far from the college. Breakfast was good, although a better fruit selection would be nice. The staff were amazing. We check in late and checked out late, asked for extra towels and they happily obliged.

We always enjoy this place. The staff members are very helpful. Even though it is an older hotel, it is always clean and comfortable. We love the outdoor area with swings located next to the stream. It is an additional highlight.

Fine for One Night, Needs Major Updating
The staff was friendly. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The entire property is very dated and could use a lot of updating. The hall carpets were dingy and needed vacuuming. The mini refrigerator in the room wasn't cold. The pool and hot tub were closed for repair/renovation during our stay. I felt safe and it was pretty quiet. It was fine for my one night stay to visit with family.

Quick access to I-68
This is a fine place for a couple of nights in the MD Mountains. From LaVale, we explored Hancock, Cumberland, Grantsville, and Oakland/Deep Creek Lake. It was a fine two nights stay. The staff was friendly. The breakfast area was bustling both mornings, and it was well-maintained considering the traffic.
