We stayed in Aloft many times, and all together I like those hotels, and the smart layout of their rooms, so I was very surprised to experience what we experienced in Aloft East Louisville. The room was wore out, furniture had scratches in the surface, but that wasn’t the reason for negative opinion. We left a blanket behind, and called the hotel right after we left, we were told to call the next morning, so we did, spoke to a lady, she never called back, we left a few messages - no response, nothing!!

This experience was awful. The AC made a horrible sound when it was on and didn't work correctly. When we contacted the front desk they showed another room that had the same issue. The hotel knew about the issue and put us in an unacceptable place anyway. Will not return

The hotel itself was super; fun colors and a modern vibe. The check-in process was great as well. The hotel was located in a fantastic location with a great variety of retail shops restaurants, and highway accessibility. My only complaint is the construction going on directly next door, which they certainly can’t control. But it didn’t impact my overall experience in a negative way. Would definitely stay again, thank you!

This is a very nice hotel. Pros: Dog friendly was important to us. The staff is very courteous. It was clean and the bed is very comfortable. Cons: Food was overpriced and the bagel I bought was stale. The traffic noise on the street side of the hotel was very bothersome at night. The shower pressure was virtually non-existent.

Nice clean upscale looking hotel. Good for an overnight sleep. Not sure why it's so highly rated. It doesn't come with free breakfast and the listing says free bottled water but none was in our room. It must be more about the bar area which we did not use. It's good, not great.

There is no housekeeping unless you request it. I was totally unaware of this. I had a room that was as far from the elevator as you could get. Lots of traffic noise all the time. It would be good if a card was placed in the room stating their services.
