Fes's cultural Fes El Bali neighbourhood is loved for its museums and gardens, and visitors often enjoy its varied attractions, including Kairaouine Mosque and Zaouia Sidi Ahmed Tijani.
Admired for its rich culture and architecture, Fes features attractions such as Fes Stadium and Atlas Garden. Visitors highlight this historical city's gardens while sights include Borj Fez Mall and Royal Palace.
It's a very interesting place. I traveled alone, and there were clever youths that attempt to guide you towards places where they have relationships and earn commissions. They tell you lies like you're going in the wrong direction and will mislead.

Amazing to be in the middle of one of the oldest cities. Definitely arrange a guide to walk through to the souks, university, madrassas, and the tannery... even with the best sense of direction or google maps you would get lost on your own.

Fascinating old city. Delighted we spent time there. Special mention to Veggie Pause, a small restaurant near the hotel - its food was amazing. One thing about Fez - it would benefit from more cultural highlights, galleries and museums.

Fes is wonderful. Seriously photogenic, and without the hassle of Marrakesh. Cheap to eat and buy goods, wonderful sites to see. We had no problem filling 4 days. We will be back.

If you are into exploring exotic places, I would recommend Fes. From the hilltop Casbahs to the textile, stone, wood and metal workers, it is worth the visit!

Wonderful city full of interesting sites, although a number you are not allowed in. Medina was fun and lots of small eateries around. Very relaxing overall

I loved being in Fes, though I wish the resources I found before the trip mentioned that the medina is 90% shut down on Fridays. It made for a very quiet meander through the mazes.

To experience Fez you need a guide to give you explanations of the history of the city and also to stop you from being lost in the narrow, chaotic alleyways.

"We had a wonderful experience. Tariq was just incredible. He made sure that before leaving the Riyad that all our questions were addressed properly. Tariq was an absolute help during our stay. Thanks again and we will be back. "
"Amazing hotel great service, I was able to check in early. Room was clean, swimming pool was great and refreshing during the summer heat. Walkable to the train station. A bit noisy by the street windows weren’t sealed. But I would recommend and will book again when visiting Fes. Thanks"
"Nice place has a lot of potential.
Took more money than what agreed through Expedia.
Not the most helpful of people ask for ice on a couple of occasions to no help.
The fridge is terrible for keeping anything close to cold.
Asked for an iron but to no help.
They do not change the bedsheets on every occasion of housekeeping.
Get your money exchanged else where they don’t give a good rate.
They think customer service is a smile only.
For a four star hotel it behaves as a two star. "
