Perfect for a shopping trip!
Went here for the location. Super nice & convenient for a shopping trip to city creek. It’s literally an 30 second walk from the doors of the hotel to the mall. It’s like mall lodging, so you’ll pay for it but sometimes it’s nice to be able to brings bags back & rest when doing a big shopping haul. Easy digital check in & check out. Nice rooms, nice service. Clean.

SLC Downtown Date Night
Hotel staff was great. Friendly service. Some remodeling going on in the lobby and restaurant. Bar is convenient for a quick drink before heading out for the night. Our room had some rustic marks or stains on one of the bed sheets. Our room was right outside the elevator, which was fairly inconvenient with noise of guests coming and going. The bar on 100 S south side of the hotel had a constant crowd until 1am. Overall great location and we enjoyed our stay!

My family were not able to stay at the hotel. I became very ill on Christmas and did not want to bring that to others. My family does this every year to see the lights, candy windows, and The Grand America windows. I reached out to try and change the date but was refused.

My biggest complaint with this stay was the refrigerator did not get cold or stay cold It would turn off after we turned it on. We spoke to the front desk about the issue and nothing happened. This may seem like a small thing but it was a big thing for our group. Super disappointing in an otherwise fabulous hotel, that we have enjoyed in the past.
