Disappointed
We have stayed here before and not had any problems. We come to Branson often and decided to stay here again because of the no fee for pets. Apparently the place had been sold and is being run by different owners.This stay was uncomfortable. When we got to our room the odor in the room smelled of b.o.and was strong. We almost thought the smell was coming from the sheets on the bed! The sheets looked clean tho.
The first trip to the bathroom and the toilet wouldn't flush. They had to go buy a plunger because they couldn't find one. Problem solved, but then the TV wouldn't work. We were told the maintenance guy had already left for the day. The girl from the front desk offered to comp us for the night (we had reserved for 3 nights) and offered us a different room after we had everything unpacked. So, we had to repack everything to move to the new room. We were exhausted and just wanted to rest and go to bed. The next day our card key wouldn't work to get into our room. Apparently it had been shut off because someone thought we were still in the original room.Come check out time I asked about being comped for the first night as we were told we would by Angie. We were informed they didn't do that and Angie had no power to offer that and were told we would have to contact the gm. This stay was such a headache we won't be back.
