Bad customer service.
We got there really late, The man at the desk waited on the men first before me, and I was second in line which was BS, then he gave us a room with a broken air conditioner. So I called and he changed our room. The walls going to the rooms need fixed, and the lights flickered all the way down, I have seizures so it wasn't good for me. The towels were so thin. No towel racks in the bathroom. The chair on the balcony was stained and filthy, and the walls on the balcony was cracked. Parking is across the street, he never told us to load and unload right there at the entrance of the hotel instead of dragging all of our stuff from the parking area. Poor customer service. First time we stayed there and the last time we stay there. Do better!!

Best Budget Hotel with a View
This is by far the best budget hotel in VA Beach. The family that runs it is so nice. The place is clean and the location is amazing! This is my go to hotel, I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else,

Cockroaches take priority
Prior to checking in I called to make sure they had rooms available because I had to leave a different hotel late in the evening due to general safety concerns and bug issues. The man working insured me they had rooms available and he would be happy to accommodate my needs, so I booked and went to check in. Upon checkin the man told me that hotels.com did not charge me correctly and it would be more money which he ended up saying that was incorrect but there would be a $10.00 parking fee which I agreed to. I ran my card and they charged me for the full 2 night stay at $133.40 overdrafting my checking account. He insured it would be resolved by morning. The next day the woman I spoke with could not help me and told me no would have to wait for management on Monday. Management basically kicked me out of the hotel and refused to honor the total of $280 I was charged. On top of that…my door lock wouldn’t work, the faucet in the bathroom was broken, the toilet ran all night and I was paid a late night visit by cockroaches. All in all it was a horrible traumatic experience leaving me with no where to stay in which I ended up sleeping in my car. The hotel manager told me that the cockroaches were a normal part of being close to the beach….ARE YOU KIDDING ME? She refused to refund me the money for the double charge. I left in tears. Hotels.com made it right issuing me a full refund of the $134.00 in rewards I had used. Again, HOTELS.CON SAVED THE DAY!

Not anymore
First, the location had a bar outside, which made a very noisy to relax and get some peace and quiet second, I asked for a room, not on the first floor. They cannot accommodate that.. They gave me a room that was handicap accessible. I didn’t ask for that. I asked for a room that wasn’t every request. I asked for they couldn’t accommodate, but I checked in early and they could have given me another room. The pillows were very deflated.

The hotel needs some serious up keep as it was really dirty and everything was falling apart. It has the potential to be a really great hotel due to its location. I have stayed here numerous times but it will be my last.

Don’t stay here!
This place is a dump. Bathroom sink facet was loose. Bathroom had not been cleaned. There was hair stuck to the tub wall. The hallway needed painting due to luggage rack running into it. Flooring needed cleaning. Overpriced. Mold on the curtains. Water dripping from the ceiling and water on the floor. Luggage rack was broken. We had to carry our luggage up to our room by hand. The elevator needed cleaning. Looking at the outside you would have thought it was going to be a nice place to stay. I do not recommend this place. We will not be staying at this place again. The desk people was the best part of our stay. They accommodated us when we asked for another room. The next room was dirty.but no water was dripping from the ceiling. No maid service. Had to ask for it. Had to pay to park. I stay at many comfort inn and I couldn’t believe how bad this place was.

The cart to take luggage upstairs was broken and kept falling apart causing great stress. The carpets in the hallway leading to our room were filthy There was dried blood on the comforter. The spigots in the bathroom were very loose And the woman at the desk upon checkout was rude and refused to give me a receipt and just walked away and hid behind the curtain.

Old hotel in disrepair
Rooms were ok, but hotel was in disrepair. No up keep on floors in elevator felt like you were gonna fall through the floor. Carpeting was filthy in the hallways. Windows were all cloudy due to broken seals. No paint repairs. Looked like a third world country outside of room. I don’t know who owns the hotel, but it is run by Indian staff.

Hotel condition looks nothing like the photos!!! This hotel is in very bad shape. DIRTY and stained carpets throughout, chipped paint throughout, mildew odor and just very poor condition overall. Will never stay here again…

Not worth it
We didn’t even stay. The room smelled like mildew and we saw a couple bugs. The comforter on the bed was worn and frayed. We felt ripped off.

The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was poorly executed tried to shower all the family after we went to the run down pool and water got everywhere had to turn on the hair drier because the air vent didn’t work, I’m pretty sure there’s mold in that bathroom. Front desk white lady was very non-chalant. Music was on till 9/10 pm
