The view was incredible. It was everything I could have hoped for. It would have been nice to have coffee to make in the room, but it was available in the lobby 24/7. The property is definitely older, but it functioned well, and was stunning.

Overall, our stay was great! The bed was very comfortable, and we loved sitting and looking over the marina while we played cards in our room. However, the chairs were not the right height for the table. I'm 5'6" and felt like I had to reach for the table - while my 6'3" husband was just fine. Maybe some pillows (besides the bed pillows) would add some height for those of us who need it! Everyone we encountered working at the hotel was friendly and helpful. While the bathroom could benefit from an upgrade, the room was clean enough. There was nothing that stood out as needing extra attention.

Loved the room which overlooked the harbor with a clear view of the bridge. The room was clean, well stocked and warm. Appreciated the refrigerator and microwave. Water pressure was amazing! Canot comment on the breaskfast, as I did not attend.

Great staff
The receptionist was so kind. She found out that I couldn’t buy stamps in town (Sunday), so she gave me 3 of her personal stamps for free. I was then able to send my daughter a postcard from Astoria. Phenomenal staff and I will be returning solely based on her kindness. View was great as well from the balcony overlooking the marina.

The view alone was worth the price. Staffe was very friendly and the breakfast offered was good. They did not offer room service unless requested duec to bring short staffed. Never collected my garbage as requested. And the room coals use a good cleaning, new carpet..

Great Place to Stay for Exploring Astoria
The staff at the Astoria Riverwalk Inn is its best feature. They are welcoming, responsive and helpful. While the inn itself could use a makeover, it is very clean. It is close to attractions and restaurants, several of which are within walking distance. In the summer there is a tram along the waterfront increasing ones no car range which is useful in a popular getaway town with one Main Street. The view of the marina and river appears to be available from each room. The bathroom needs more light, the bed may be a little firm for some, but towels are decent and readily available, the included breakfast is better than most and the staff responds promptly when attention is needed. We spent most of our time out and about so it was just fine with us. I would recommend this inn to families and couples who are in Astoria to explore the town and surrounding area. We would certainly book here again for future visits.

Where we go in Astoria
This was our second trip to the Astoria Riverwalk Inn. We enjoyed both stays because it's gotta nice view of the Marina, the Columbia River, and the big ships coming in and out from the Pacific. The rooms are dated, but functional. Astoria is small so you are close to everything if you drive. I would normally ding a place for not remodeling when it's past due, the price is very reasonable for what you get... especially during the off season. Being on the river walk is a bonus. Enjoy!
