"Friendly staff, amazing service and great location!"
Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at West Lake
"We had a wonderful stay at Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou. The hotel is located right across from a beautiful park. It takes about a 6-minute walk to reach the park, where you can enjoy the lovely lotus leaves and peaceful scenery. Even when the weather is not ideal, you can still have a great time inside the hotel. The hotel has beautiful gardens and lotus flowers, making it a perfect place for taking photos and relaxing. We highly recommend the hotel’s Jin Sha Restaurant, which serves delicious Chinese cuisine. The hotel also offers a complimentary photography experience. We chose to purchase additional photos this time, and the quality was excellent. Even if you decide not to buy extra photos, the service is still outstanding. The staff provided a truly five-star experience. Overall, we had a memorable stay and would highly recommend Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou."
Shangri-La Hangzhou
"The building was built in the 1950s, so that’s the style. The location is perfect, with the lake right in front of your eyes. Rooms are solid built and quiet which is hard to achieve with modern buildings. Once you shut the balcony door you can’t hear the hustle and bustle outside. Breakfast is great with a gorgeous view of the lake. If one is looking for a modern hotel this is not the recommended one. But if one is interested in history and wants to stay at the same hotel a lot of world leaders stayed at, one may feel he/she is reliving the history here. Love the lotuses in the lobby by the way, very summery."
JW Marriott Hotel Hangzhou
"no comments to be added. Thanks."
Courtyard by Marriott Hangzhou Wulin
"Room was spacious, breakfast buffet was good."
Conrad Hangzhou
"Fabulous stay, buffet was wonderful, a great mix of western options and omelettes were made to order, nice selection of breads, pastries, fresh juices with an amazing view to enjoy your breakfast. Concierge at the front of the building, someone opening my taxi door, to offering to take my luggage, as well as someone standing at the elevators to guide you. Everything feels really well thought out and meticulous, you are truly cared for there. My best stay in china could not recommend enough."

During your visit, you can explore stunning natural parks, picturesque lakes, ancient temples, and captivating museums, all of which offer great value for money. With the potential for prices to drop during these months, it's an excellent opportunity for those travelling on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover enticing last-minute deals for hotels in Hangzhou, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature available through the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to find the best options. With these tools, you can be among the first to know about price drops or available rooms for your spontaneous getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find more affordable options for your stay in a hotel in Hangzhou. For those interested in distinctive experiences, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we might suggest alternative dates that could lead to a more favourable deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be pricier, but thanks to Hangzhou's superb public transport system, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less populated neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
