I was asked what time I would like to check in, I requested 2pm the reply said I suggested 4pm! I asked to leave luggage at 1pm but no one got there until 2 and said check in is at 3 but they’re running late. Expedia has 2pm check in. They charge early check in fees but you don’t get anything if they’re late! I sat there over an hour and still no cleaners. I was told 2 of them would do the job so it’s quicker. There was only one guy! Apt. was rushed cleaned in about 1 hour and ready at 5:30. You have to take trash out yourself 2 blocks away! There was noise early morning from scaffolding construction and the patio was rearranged and dusty with rusty poles in the space. I notified them and they said construction is allowed and I couldn’t use the sitting area ( chose apt. for patio) next 5 days ! I mentioned the paint dust falling onto the bed from ceiling ( something the cleaner should tell them) and no response. But the next day I received several emails to collect a large package and put it in the apartment and to confirm after doing so. After complying I asked to check out at noon instead of 10 and was told NO! After booking a one week stay and the inconveniences I should have been compensated. All I got was meaningless apologies and thanks for understanding. I didn’t have a choice so I slept on the sofa because I have dust allergies and didn’t want to breathe in flaking paint at night. It felt like after they got the money they didn’t care. They could’ve check things out!
