Excellent hotel across from the lake
This is our second time staying at this property and again enjoyed our visit. The rooms are large and clean, close to the lake and Eat Street. Breakfast buffet is very good. Made good use of the pool area with its mineral spa pools. Nice modern hotel in a convenient location.

Breakfast was not managed well.
My daughter find hair in her bed. I also saw some hair on the bathroom floor. The thing that bothered us the most was how understaffed the restaurant was during breakfast. There was bird poop on my chair and only one side of the pancakes were cooked. We also had to wait to get clean mugs.

Not happy
Rooms were what you would expect for the price its just a shame check in was outrageous we had to wait until abou 4pm before we could check in to our room and our daughter had two rooms and they had to wait even longer, they were given drinks vouchers but still not good enough. We had a early arrival (5.30am) and asked if we could have an early check in and were turned away and told to come back at our check in time, so we did . But to have too wait hours longer 😡 we weren't very happy. To top it off our daughter booked in there for there return trip and the same thing happened again. Wont be booking in there again.

Average Hotel in Every Way
Average hotel with average service and average room conditions. Overall this was just an average hotel. Definitely not up to par with other Novotel hotels that I’ve stayed at. I was here with my family so requested connecting rooms in advance but the staff put guests, who by the way were not using the connecting rooms, in the connecting rooms. Think they could’ve done more to accommodate but they didn’t choose to. Rooms and bathrooms were dated and the lobby elevator area smelled like sewer and rotten eggs. Very unpleasant. The one big perk of this hotel was the proximity to the family friendly restaurants nearby.

Easy access to shopping and restaurants
Comfortable bed. Very quiet area. Close to a lot of restaurants, just across the street. Right across from the park and a beautiful walking path along the water front. Enjoyed the pool and thermal pools in the hotel.

Great location
The pros: good location, room had nice view over lake, close to eat street. The cons: poor overhead room lighting, one bedside lamp per queen bed, bedding was too hot, no free wifi, (O/S travellers do not have enormous data), expected to chromecast from personal streaming services, no provision of parking by Novotel. We found the stay quite impersonal.

Comfortable bed, great location, the room was clean, although bathroom needs an upgrade. Disappointed the pool/spa wasn’t open the whole time we were there. Apart from the lady who checked us in, the rest of the staff have an attitude as if everything’s too much effort.

The main reason to book Novotel is to use swimming pool and hit spa, but they told me it is not available to use and it will be available next morning. But next day still could not use. Disappointed on it.
