Don’t stay here.

I stayed there years ago and it looks like nothing has been done since, including cleaning the place. Didn’t even have towels in the room. They said they needed to wash some but that was after I woke up in the morning to realize I had no bath towels. They later bragged about having washed and folded plenty. Go anywhere just about anywhere else.

DISGUSTING. This hotel was a nightmare. We got checked into a room that they hadn’t finished cleaning and the toilet looked like something from fear factor. New room wasn’t much better, thank god it was one night. Also, they don’t turn their hot tubs on so they’re ice cold 😂

Pictures are deceiving

The room had no towels, the kitchenette utensils drawer was filthy witha a long black hair mixed in with the random utensils. The tv had no power cord, staff had me going room to room to find a power cord. Tv remote didnt work once tv had power. The hotel is huge and must have hundreds of rooms and about 5 guests. The staff was friendly but clueless. Over all, it felt like staying in a hotel that is just used for laundering money.

Horrible.

Room looks nothing like Google photo. Dirty, old, smelly. No outlets worked. Bare bed frame, no skirt and the frame was old l, stained and falling apart. No ice machines worked, toilet didn’t flush. Horrible experience.

Mouse house inn

A mouse jumped in bed with us. We found mouse poop all over the room. We asked for cleaning of the room and they did a terrible job of that. The gutters overflowed causing pooling water on the walkway.

The staff was friendly and the room was spacious. I loved having a balcony over looking the river :) the only down side was their steam room wasn't working and pool area could use a little renovation. Overall, we had a stellar stay !

Well... one of the sheets had a old blood stain and we didnt notice it until the morning, and it wasnt from us! The bed was lopsided and tilted back where we felt like our feet were higher than our heads, the bathroom water/room smelled weird when the shower ran..the fridge was on and the freezer part was cold and icy but the rest of fridge was barely cold... also the screen was blurry and very out of focus with basic cable.. no netflix or any other services. We got the suite with the jacuzzi tub and it was $250.77 we feel we could have gone to the riverhouse which was a 2 min walk away for $25 more and gotten many more amenities/comfort. Probably wont stay again. And or choose a different type of room they offer to see price difference and comfort if I had to. They need to be updated!

It is absolutely beautiful property and views. When we first walked up to our room there was a large bag of trash laying on the side walk. The room looked really nice and was very warm!! Went looking for menus and found trash(used Q-tips change an old sucker) in the drawer, and all the drawers were dirty, went to go get a tissue, and the tissue boxes were empty. There was a very cool draft by the back door as the whole seal had come off, and the window was starting to come out the frame back in around the window in the door.

The hotel should not even be available to book. There was nobody at the front desk for nearly 20 minutes while we waited to check in. Once we got to our room the smell was awful. There was dead bugs on the blankets and dead bugs all over. Spiders living in the bathroom sink. Something brown smeared all over the bathroom door. I pulled the fitted sheet back to find no mattress protector and bugs crawling on the mattress. It then took an hour to confirm I could get a refund because Shilo in was not able to refund because I booked with Expedia Expedia hung up on me 3x when I tried to get a refund. I finally was able to get through a chat. This was such an inconvenience and I doubt I’ll ever book with Expedia again. Shilo Inn needs to be shut down.

Hard pass!!!

This was an uncomfortable situation. I booked a king suite online. When I checked in and saw the room , yikes. Not like the pictures or descriptions. Very old and smelly. Not a suite at all. I didn’t stay. I was able to get a refund. The clerk said I had book a standard king room. I showed him my confirmation. My email didn’t match his computer. Bait/ switch???

Dirty rooms

We were in room 522, it was so gross and dirty. Stained carpet, food on the walls, dirty bathrooms. We arrived late so we went to bed. The next morning I went to the front desk and said how dirty it was we were moved to 610. We were told homeless had been breaking in and staying in the rooms. Room 522 should be closed until it can be remodeled and cleaned. Neither room had coffee cups so we were unable to have coffee. We had to go to the ice maker in the 300 building as the others were not working. We arrived to the hotel in the dark and building 600 was completely dark. No outside lights we had to use our phones to see where to go. I paid extra to have the nicer rooms but that was not the case.

THE WORST EVER! I walked into my room to see a bottle of lubricant on the floor by the bedroom nightstand and handprints on the walls above the bed and on the headboard. To top it off the hot tub I paid for in the room had dirty hair and some“stuff” floating in the water :( had a good laugh about it but it was still nasty lol
