Stay away from room 130
The room where I stayed was close to an exit building door, people come in and out at all the time , the front desk should make u aware or the noise coming when the door slam the frame , it was a rough night sleep . I did probably sleep two hours total

The check in process was simple. The room was nice just not thoroughly cleaned as it should be. In the morning after taking a shower an army of baby roaches decided to come out of hiding. Never in my life had i experienced this in a hotel.

Awful hotel
Very old and outdated. Dirty with stains on mattresses and bugs. Wasn’t happy at all with the accommodations or for the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Very disappointing

The side door thats suppose to be key entry only and locked for our protection was not lock.

terrible customer service and bumped room
I made a reservation a week ago thru hotels.com. I even call the hotel direct on Aug 8 to see if they had another room in case my friend wanted her own space. They were friendly on the phone and confirmed rooms for Friday night still available. BUT on Friday afternoon at 5p.m. I got a voice mail stating that my room was no longer available. They had over booked and would not be honoring my reservation. I could reach out to Hotel.com to get my refund and book another room elsewhere!! It was 8p.m. Friday night that I heard the message. I was driving the 3 hours to the hotel. I called the front desk to see if anything could be done at this late date. She was not helpful at all. She said they could not honor my res because they had no rooms at this time. When i asked about another hotel close by this hotel. She informed me that she only worked for Extended Stay and was not familiar with any other choices. !! She Didn't seem to care that I now no place to stay at this time of night after a long day. I informed her afer 12 years working for Marriott, I had always offered another place to stay for my quest in this situation. I don't understand how I got bumped over someone else. But I can assure you, Extended stay has lost my business forever. I chose this location because I know at one time it had been a Marriot property. Obviously, it does not have the Marriot standards of decent customer service. I did find a Hotel at the Hampton Inn down the street behind the Silver Diner.

I should ask for a refund…
Room smelled bad. Mattress was hard as a rock. Bathroom door had an in repaired hole in it. Coffee in the morning undrinkable.

May get get what you reserve
Reserved 2 bedroom room back in September 2023 for family wedding. Got reminders from hotels.com as trip was coming up(May 2024). Arrived at Extended Stay America and room was not available even though made reservation months in advance. First, offered us a room with a queen bed and pull out couch for 5 people. Told them would not work. Showed them initial reservation. They then agreed to give us 2 rooms at the close to the same costs that we were originally going to pay ($20 more). Rooms we received were okay but on 2 different floors. Would have been easier to get family ready for wedding had we had the reserved 2 bedroom room we had reserved.

I want a refund !!
I was given a handicap room on the 2nd floor. WHY would you book me a reservation. I am not handicapped. The people over me stomped on the floor. I saw roaches. They have 5 dryers and 3 washing machines but only 2 washing machines work.

Cockroaches in the room. They switch us to a different room and there was still cockroaches in the new room. And they say they will reimburse me back $106.00 and still don’t see the refund yet.

Smokeville USA! Avoid!
The first room we were given smelled like cigarette smoke. They switched our room and it was initially much better. Then 2 hours in, the bathroom REEKED of cigarette smoke. Guests are violating the no-smoking policy and not much is being done about this! I have allergy-induced asthma and I use medically necessary contact lenses, so this is a serious health hazard for me.
