Great Spot, No Frills Attached
Don’t let the photos fool you, the rooms are way smaller than they look online. Kind of like a budget version of what you see in the pics, but the price for the location is a steal. The place is a old and snug. There’s one tiny elevator that’s out of order more often than not, so be ready to hit the stairs. The rooms are compact, and if you’re sharing, just a heads up that the bathroom door is frosted glass. The beds are comfy and the staff was very friendly.
In summary, you’re not stumbling on a crazy good deal at a luxury beachfront hotel, so manage those expectations and you'll be fine... you're getting what you're paying for. They do offer free beach chairs and towels at the front desk though, which is great.
A cool trivia for film buffs, this hotel appears in the background of the end of the chainsaw scene from Scarface when Tony is out on the street.
