Convenient, affordable, comfortable

NOTE: REVIEW PERTAINS TO THE "RIN" NOT THE "RIN EXPRESS." A very nice experience. I booked the RIN Express (the budget hotel) but they upgraded me to the standard RIN at no extra charge as the Express hotel was being remodeled. Staff were very polite and friendly, and spoke English well (I speak very little Romanian). The hotel is within walking distance of Henri Coanda Airport (though a shuttle is available) and close to a bus stop that heads straight into the center of Bucharest. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I had to laugh at was the free city map provided in the room, which features ads for escort services and erotic massage parlors! Other than that, it seems like a high quality place. I was only in Bucharest for less than 24 hours, so I had to get to the hotel quickly, take a shower, and get into town quickly to do some sight-seeing. And the next morning, get back to the airport quickly for my flight to Tbilisi. The RIN was perfectly positioned. There is an ATM in the lobby so I could get Romanian Lei before my bus ride into town.

Plaisant, mais il faut se mefier

Le probleme de cet hotel est le fait qu'on organise des agapes qui durent toute la nuit et on ne peut pas se reposer. J'ai appele la reception a 2 heures du matin pour reclamer le bruit continuu venant d ela musique a fond, et on m'a assuree poliment qu'il y en aura pour seulement une demi-heure!! En realite, on a pu se reposer apres 4 heures du matin. Certes, le confort et le cadre plaisant de cet hotel est attirant, mais on devrait appeler avant pour s'assurer qu'il n'y a pas de soirees bruiantes durant son sejour.

Great layover hotel

The hotel was very close to the airport and it was a very cheap taxi ride to get there. I wish that there was clearer information either on this site or the hotel website about how to arrange the free shuttle from the airport because it was not very clear and I ended up taking a taxi both ways. I had a late arrival and a very early departure so the location was key because I got the most sleep possible as I did not have to leave very early to get to HC airport (which I would have had I stayed in city centre.) The staff was friendly and spoke English and my room was tidy and suited all of my needs. If I was flying through Bucharest again I would book this hotel.

Perfect for an airport overnight stay

Chose RIN for our last night in Romania after touring the countryside. It was a perfect place for a cheap and easy overnight stay before an early flight. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi was only available in the lounge (rooms had wired internet connection but newer Mac laptops, iPads, and phones don't have a port for this connection).

basic and cheap....

very basic.... bare room. no kettle, not even basic toiletries, 1 hand-soap dispenser falling off wall. breakfast cold and unappetising, despite being first down at restaurant opening 630am. This used to be a homeless hostel/family emergency hostel... it is of that standard. Cheap, but very very basic.

Hotel trocado

Como chegamos a noite, já haviam vendido o nosso quarto para outra pessoa, mas isso de forma nenhuma foi um problema, uma vez que nos trocaram para o hotel RIN, ao lado, um 4 estrelas da mesma rede, sem nos cobrar nada. Foram super honestos quanto a isso. Quanto ao hotel o problema é a falta de internet nos quartos. Fora isso foi uma ótima estadia
