I should have realized this was a mistake when I asked to go to the restroom before checking in and the restroom was literally falling apart, ceiling tiles dirty and water stained. The lobby was okay, at best, but I decided to give the benefit of the doubt. I got into the room, and it had glass floor to ceiling windows that rattled when I shut the door. There was an indescribable stench in the room as well. I immediately went back to the front desk and checked out. I told the receptionist that I didn't feel safe nor comfortable. When I asked her to release the "incidental" hold on my credit card, she said that she had to call the manager and tell them that I hadn't stayed and would call me once that had been done, and the hold was released. I never got a call back. How this hotel got an Expedia rating of "7.4 Good" is absolutely beyond me. I wouldn't rate it a 0.5 Horrible as that would be generous in my opinion.
One word to the wise... RUN! Do NOT book this property!!!!!
