Villa getaway

We had booked a 2 bedroom villa for our family at Livingstone Jan Thiel and it was the perfect stay! Very spacious and clean. Loved the terrace area, we had breakfast every morning out there. Had all the basic necessities. Resort is quite large so it was a bit confusing navigating through it to get to our villa sometimes but they do give you a map. Close to the beach with lots of restaurants. Supermarket right across the street but I found it was a bit expensive compared to orhers. We will definitely stay here when we visit Curacao again!

Location

The proximity to Jan Thiel beach and restaurants is perfect. There is also a grocery store 5 minutes walk which was very convenient. We found both pool areas very nice, but the main pool seating arrangements are mostly cabanas, so we found there was a shortage of loungers most days. We are at the restaurant for lunch and one breakfast. The food was just okay. The staff were all amazing, very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a deluxe apartment and really enjoyed the balcony. There are stairs and no elevator, so a little tough getting the luggage up and down but it’s manageable. We did need a converter to charge anything in our room. Plenty of parking around the resort. Overall it was a pleasant stay!

This is a great spot if you're looking to spend a few days relaxing - the rooms are clean and the kitchenette and private patio make it feel homey. The pool was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful.

If you’re looking for somewhere in the city, this location wouldn’t be best, it’s like 30-40 mins away from the airport & taxi fees are like $50-$60 USD. The hotel is pretty nice and the food is good as well. We did find one roach in our room, but nothing too worry about. The beach is like a 8min walk away. The staff is pretty nice & there are a few things to do around. We liked it!
