Beautiful grounds. Very nice room, newly renovated. Excellent buffet. Very disappointed that almost no restaurant reservations are available unless you book far in advance of arrival. No foid/snack options near pool or beach. Service level was mixed with most interactions positive but some taking much too long (e.g., 2 hours to send blankets to the room) and less than pleasant. Service level would be fine for a 3 star but not up to 5 star standard as advertised.

Great 5 night stay!

Had a nice family trip. Wish they had ice in buildings but get that it’s bagged and needs to be delivered. But why have ice buckets in each room if you deliver in an ice bucket? Early check-in is key. We did not and found very little availability for dinner, unless you don’t mind eating at 9:30pm. Similar volume with the excursions. Don’t forget to bring a Yeti, straws, and sweet-and-low if you prefer it. Going back in 5 weeks so really like the resort.

Great Christmas vacation

The resort is very well maintained and managed. The rooms were nice and modern, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed everything, from the food and drinks to the beach and the entertainment. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We liked the building by the infinity pool .we did not the like buildings 5202 and the other we stayed at third was not great. lots of bugs on the first floor and the maid service was not good on the 1st floor.when we got upgraded, we did love the building by the ocean and adult only section infinity pool.The buffet was ok but they all seem to have the same almost every nite.The entertainment was ok but the singers not that great.we loved the fire show.They had great stuff for the kids even tho ours is grown.We think some of the proerty needs to be updated like the rooms close to the lobby .we did appreciate the upgrade as our experience before we arrived with the transfers and airfairs was not.Yolanda made our last 3 days there awesome and guest experience in the adult only building.Thank you for helping us,for that we reason we probably would return.

No dinner reservations available. I did see a lot of empty tables at the restaurant I was able to book. I believe you must be a member in orser to have a decent dinner otherwise you are basically forced to eat at the buffett. Limited transportation to the rooms. I WILL NOT VISIT THIS RESORT AGAIN

I and my wife enjoyed everything about Bahia Principe the staff was super friendly, the service was good and the food was great they have a lot of activities around the place to keep you busy or to have some peace and enjoy just the weather of Rivera Maya.

We stayed in a swim up suite which was well appointed and met expectations. The complex incorporates 4 resorts which are all available,so it makes for a better choice. Very difficult to reserve a la carte restuarants make sure you download the Resort app at least a week before you go so it is easier than trying to reserve when you get there,nobody informed me of this!

Amazing location, rooms need updating , massive resort with lots to do! Maps needed for resort other than on your phones. Dining A-LA CARTE needs better access, not able to make reservations to all the restaurants. More washrooms closer to the sports bar!!

We have been scammed twice inside the resort. We booked a taxi with the hotel, and the driver dropped us off in a different area. The place we were supposed to go was an hour's drive. The price was fixed through the hotel, but he dropped us after 20 minutes, saying this is the place. The spa is terrible. First of all, they overcharge, and then they do not give you the service that was promised. It is off season in Mexico, still the reservation process for the Ellicott restaurant. They made it so hard that you won’t even be able to get a table. Even though they had five different restaurants, we ended up having buffet dinner three days in a row
