Loved the hotel! It was clean, comfy and quiet. We booked two rooms — each had a sleek kitchen bar area with new and modern appliances, and high tech bathroom vanity. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shops, with good parking options. It was perfect for a family stay in DC.

Needs repairs
Kind staff, but the heater didn’t work, and wasn’t fixed even after I brought it up, and the toilet ran the whole time and there was a very moldy smell from the kitchen. The street noise from trash removal was ridiculously loud in the morning even with the windows closed. If those parts were fixed, the location and layout of the rooms would make this an ideal location, especially for the price.

Nice hotel, but choose a room facing the street.
Good location, pretty close to everything. About 25 minutes walk to the Mall. Excellent beds. But the heating system was not functioning properly. It was extremely hot in the room, 80 degrees w/o any option to cool it down other than opening the window. We were facing the inside courtyard where all vents from the restaurant down below were spewing fumes from cooking so, we couldn’t keep the window open.

I had a great stay at this hotel overall. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and had a convenient kitchen, which made it easy to prepare meals during my stay. The location was perfect for exploring the area. However, I did have an issue with a mosquito in the room, which was a bit frustrating. Despite that, the hotel staff was friendly and the overall experience was enjoyable. I’d still recommend it for its comfort and amenities

Great location: walking distance to Dupont Circle and elsewhere. Bed was comfy but could add another layer of mattress for height. Amenities was good although the room didn’t come with coffee but only decaf. Bathroom is a little old and outdated but equipped with an interactive mirror with bluetooth connection and speaker!

Some staff was nice. But when you called down for something you frequently got no answer. I had to leave the room hunt for people to help me. The walls and especially doors are paper thin. You can hear your neighbors very well. On my last morning I had no hot water and could not use the shower.

Overall I was very displeased with my stay at the Quincy. The property seemed to look okay when you walked in the lobby. But once I got to my room. I noticed my room safe was not installed, just a safe on the floor with a bag with nuts, keys and installation instructions. The air conditioning was not working and my room was 76 degrees in the early evening. I called the front desk and the representative told me the building is old and to open my window! At 3am I woke up and my room was 81 degrees! For nearly $700/ night. I was blown away at both the state of the hotel as well as the staffs response to my concerns. Washington is indeed an old town but if the property is being converted or is under construction to upgrade features, that should be shared with customers or Expedia so that we are informed before we book.

I arrived after hours, and found it highly difficult to understand the availability of parking and valet and bellhop services. In an unfamiliar city, arriving alone, and late, and concerned for the safety of myself and my car and its contents, this facility failed to provide steps and appropriate explanations. The website and FAQ should provide each step required to engage each service, and provide the time of day when a service degrades to “reduced staff/late night” mode, and explain all changes. WIFI instructions should be printed on the card key’s paper sleeve. Vital services associated with safe checkin need to be abundantly clear. It is extremely easy to maintain current steps and procedures in a FAQ. Personal safety is a rising concern in every major city. There should be clear steps and zero guesswork required for any guest who wants to understand and follow best practices for personal safety and theft avoidance. Your FAQ is woefully incomplete.
