They had a room and I needed one when other properties closer to where I needed were all booked.

We were headed to Crater lake and it was only about 30 minutes. That is convenient considering the limited options around Crater Lake. Walkable to several cafes. Quaint but hardest bed I have ever slept on. Hotel is slightly run down, but adds to the quaint factor

A family owned lodge that is well maintained. I felt safe being a solo female traveler. Restaurant s, gas stations, minimarts, the post office are within walking distance.

The staff at this property are very helpful and courteous. The rooms are clean. But the walls are thin (you can hear the truck traffic on the road and the people in other rooms), and everything is in need of an update. For the price, travelers should expect more — but it’s one of the few places with access to the north entrance of Crater Lake — supply and demand determine the price.

Staff was especially helpful. Did their utmost to make limited ammenities available. Attention to detail in room and drinks available 24/7 in lobby. Small, older place in remote town outside of Crater Lake - you can walk the length of the town in 15-20 minutes. 2 of the 3 restaurants in town were closed on the day we were there (Monday&Tuesday closed). Mexican restaurant was at South end of the street and very good.

Not many options near north entrance to Crater NP
Stairs only so if you have any physical limitations, I would not recommend. I was under the impression breakfast was included but it was just coffee. Bed was nice. Shower was poor and washcloths were stained. Staff was friendly.

Older Building in Quaint Little Town
We have stayed here several times before and like the fact that it is an older building in a quaint little town. They do try to keep up with the latest in entertainment on the TV.

Street light shines right into room and trucks going by all night as my room was less than 50 feet from the highway.

The room was not clean, bathroom was disgusting with hairs all over bathtub mat.
Staff did not speak any English so they had to call someone over the phone every time we need to communicate with them.
Rooms had old beat-up furniture, not a good place to stay at all.

Ugh...
body hairs in corner of bathroom, mold growing around shower, shower plastic pan broke so they just filled with epoxy or something similar.

Right next to the highway you hear tractor trailers 24/7. Stingy owners are loathe to give up toilet paper. Walk to everything the town is so small.

Okay, but needs renovations
The beds were okay and the room was clean but it needs some renovations. I slept well even though there wasn't a deadbolt on the door. I guess it's never needed one.

Room was dirty in areas and in need of maintenance. Staff looked in our room and made intentional noise when we were a few minutes late checking out. The room did offer a nice mini kitchen and we generally had a comfortable stay here.

I reserved cowboy room but that is not what room I was given. Someone was already in cowboy room. Limited contact with any staff.
