The room was clean and wonderfully spacious. There was even a lovely small balcony. We also enjoyed the breakfast. However the fridge in the room did not work and though I spoke with staff three times, nothing was ever done, not even a verbal response. Though we enjoyed our room, the building was rundown and unclean. I saw garbage on the floor in the lobby for three of the five days we were there. I even took a photo, if you wish to see it. The walls were dingy and looked as if the place hadn’t been painted in many decades.
Another concern was late arrivals. Two nights we were assisting late arrivals because it was difficult for them to contact any staff to access their rooms. One night we let in a group of seven people to sleep in the reception area because there was no way for them to contact the staff to get into their rooms. No emergency number was provided, and no staff was on the premises. The family got to their rooms in the morning at 6am when the cook arrived to prepare breakfast. This is not a place I would recommend to anyone.
