Good family trip option; not for light sleepers
This place is pretty good. Clean, spacious, well-equipped. Kitchen with microwave and toaster, and washer/dryer.
My daughter and I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite here and it suited us well, with a few problems that you should be aware of that may or may not be relevant to you.
Location - if you've looked at a map you'll see it's not totally central. It's nearest the Green line on the subway, which means you'll be transferring onto the Red line to go to many of the tourist sites. Having said that, it's still very convenient - it's a 1 block walk to the subway station. One day we decided not to use the subway and walked to the Capitol building; it only took 20-25 minutes. So the location is pretty good, (but not amazing).
Check-in. Man this is unnecessarily complicated. You have to download an appl just to let yourself in the front door. From there you will check in with a human being who will issue you a standard hotel prox card and never use the app again.
Sleep. This was the big problem for us. On floor 3 you could hear every conversation on the street below. Worse, the blinds aren't block-out - so you're constantly illuminated by light bright enough to read by. Good thing we had our eye masks with us.
I believe a hotel has fundamentally failed if it doesn't give you a good night's sleep. Thanks to the light (and also the noise) we never got this here.
Hopefully the hotel will install curtains or block-out blinds in the future.
