This beautifully preserved antebellum mansion exudes charm and history. The rooms are exquisitely decorated with period antiques, and the common areas are inviting and comfortable. The inn is conveniently located in the heart of Macon's historic district, within walking distance of many attractions, including the Grand Opera House and the Tubman Museum. Great staff and surroundings. We stayed in the back house but very nice. Sat out in sun on porch to read with back patio between big house and our house( 9 rooms ). No coffee in room but asked for some and it was brewed fresh in 5 mins. Beautiful 200 yr old mansion. Loved it - close to downtown for concert. Love the old town area and Phenominal older homes. Great place to stay with character rather than simply a Holiday Inn -type with gym/pool etc. AN EXPERIENCE YOU WILL CHERISH!!!
