The room was clean & spacious enough with 2 windows. They cleaned up the room everyday. Hot water worked well. They provided mineral water & coffee everyday in the room. How to get to hotel: 1) From Changi airport, take MRT to Tanah Merah station, change to green line (Tuas Link direction) & stop at Kallang MRT station. Leave this station & make the right exit (not left). 2) There is a bus stop exactly in front of Kallang MRT station. Take bus no 7,11,12,31,33. Hop off in 2 stops. Go straight (cross the small street) around 50 metres, make left, go straight for 50 metres, the hotel is in your left. From hotel to city: 1) Turn left, go straight for 50 metres, make right, go straight 50 metrres, you'll find bus stop 2) Take bus no 26 or 62, hop off in Kallang MRT station (2 stops). The only thing made me disappointed was they changed my room type without confirmation in advance. I ordered queen type bed, they gave a 2 single-beds room. You can't do that whatever the reason is.

I stay with family of 4 for 3 nights. Overall it is a good hotel, even some people said that it is in 'red district' of Singapore. There are a lot of food courts around the hotel with reasonable price & near bus stop. I am satisfy enough.

Hotelnya sih bagus, meski beberapa gang disampingbadalah red distrik, tapi untuk pelayan, kondisi, kamar, kamar mandi, semuanya ok, handuk, kamar dibersihkan setiap hari. Untuk jarak hotel dari stasiun MRT agak jauh ±200m, dn lorongnya agak sedikit nyempil. kalau dari bus stasiun lumyan dkat, palingan kalau jalan kaki cuma ±50m

clean hotel and easy access to public transport

overall we are happy staying in the Fragrance Emerald Hotel. We were staying in d family room... 3 adults and 1 little children and the room though quite small but it is clean. this hotel is located in the Kallang area and there is so many restaurants near our hotel so for breakfast and supper we can try local food around the hotel. One thing for input... It is better for the hotel to put on the website how to get there by MRT and bus. Luckily we got the help from local people so for the rest of our staying (we were staying for 5 nights) -- we can have better access by dropping in nearest MRT station (Kallang) and continuing our journey to the hotel by hop on the bus number 7 Otherwise from MRT station, some website info that we have to walk and it is quite far especially for people who is bringing the little kids Unfortunately the wifi is not free in the room so we can only access it for free in the lobby :) But I can recommend this hotel for family vacation.. the area is safe and the hotel is clean.

The area was generally safe, but there were some loiterers who spent time right outside the building during the night. I additionally saw a mouse in the street the hotel was located on. The hotel itself was clean and basic in line with what you would expect from a budget hotel. The beds were short twin sized beds, as such you would be uncomfortable if you are over 180 cm. My only other concern with the room was that the shower head would not point down, it would spray horizontally. As such, we needed to reposition the head every few minutes to be able to wash ourselves. This becomes quite annoying, and I found it to be a gaping design flaw which can easily be fixed to provide a better experience for guests.

Convenient hotel near the National Stadium

I booked this hotel as it is within walking distance to the National Stadium (less than 15 mins walk), and I read some online reviews too. My stay was trouble free, front desk staff were friendly, I was able to check in around 2 pm, and the cleaning crew cleaned my room daily. WIFI works but can be a little slow in the evening time when more guests were using it. I walked to Mountbatten MRT - took me around 12 mins. Eateries, 7-11 nearby - within 5 mins walk. This is a budget hotel, room size and shower area are not large, sound proof could be better but I found it ok as it was usually quiet nearer to or after midnight. My final night, around 10 pm there was a guest who sat at the end of the corridor (on the 3rd floor) and spoke on the phone for over 30 mins, it was not very considerate of this guest as he could have done this on the ground floor reception sitting area. Luckily he did not speak any longer otherwise I would have sought help from the front desk. Overall I was satisfied with my stay, I was in the room for less than 12 hours each day, to me - I felt safe and encountered no issues in the surrounding area. I noted they have luggage storage facility but as I checked out in the morning to head to the airport, I did not use it. Those who wish for higher level of comfort with spacious rooms and other onsite facilities, wish to be close to tourist attractions / big shopping malls, they should revisit options and book elsewhere.
