I recommend!

We had a little issue at check-in that forced us to stay at a nearby hotel for the first night, but management at Sands Inn & Suites was very nice and worked with us to solve the issue promptly. The rest of our stay was flawless, and I would definitely recommend staying here. The rooms aren't as updated as some of the other hotels in the area but they have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a very hospitable staff.

The wood floors made the room feel real clean. The room and appliances were updated. Great breakfast. A little over a mile to downtown SLO. Walking got us home faster than calling an uber. Great value for the price. Will stay here again. A+

We stayed here for graduation weekend. Like all the hotels, the prices were sky high for that weekend but I think normally this place is reasonably prices. We stayed in a suite which was spacious and clean. Didn’t really use the facilities but the pool area looked ok. There was a dog barking next door which was annoying but the manager at the hotel gave us a discount for the noice which was much appreciated!

Nice place to stay with good amenities.

It was a nice place to stay at. Nice pool with outdoor spa. Nice breakfast room. Only issue was, I had issues with the hotel's username and password, with my laptop. Next time I will stay will be May 24th(one night) and I will have a mobile hotspot which will take care of the issue.

I’m ADA, the facility is new, great and service top notch. The front desk at night was very friendly professional, friendly and informative. My only issues is I ada and have a mussel disorder. The toilet bowl did not meet the ADA requirements. That was the only ossue

We called ahead to say that we would be arriving shortly before check-in and asked if an early check-in would be possible. The staff said they should be ready for us when we arrived. They were ready and gave us a free upgraded room with a kitchenette. The room was renovated (the property looks like it was likely a motel previously), and so was the front desk. The property was clean and room was nice.

I came up for a family photo shoot. It was wonderful that it was so quiet at night. Slept like a baby. The room was clean. My highlight was having the pool and spa all to myself for an hour. Lucky me!!. I floated on your floaty ring and enjoyed the bubbly spa for 20 ish min. Thank you for a relaxing and restful overnight stay. 🌹

Not worth the price!

The staff at check was very short with me and didn't seem to want to hear or answer much of a question I had. She didn't feel welcoming nor provided any info about the amenities of the hotel. The rooms are old and not like the pictures online. I could hear the people on the room next door talking and watching TV. The sink water was not going down in our room. No towels at the pool. The breakfast was not very "continental". The price for one night seemed high for a stay at this hotel.
