Our initial check-in, and surprise walk up four floors on a spiral staircase, were a bummer, but overall this place had more positives than negatives.
Nice renovation, very clean, heated bathroom floor, the sofa bed was made up and more comfortable than most. the kitchen setup and TV were both good. Despite being in the middle of tourist land it was quiet.
On the downside, the listing does mention lack of elevator, but that is not enough to describe the actual conditions, which would be impossible for some people to manage. The owner should make this clear!
Other small negatives: Bedroom has no window and is very tight, not enough bathroom counter space or towel hooks, broken pull-down blind on window.
The #1 problem is lack of communication from the owner. We should have received an email explaining the check-in process (which is done via Ring doorbells) and including the wifi info (which we had to get from a neighbor). The owner is hard to reach and leaves much to chance. But it did work, and in the end this was a comfortable stay.
