Upon arriving- smelled like an abandoned house, the floors were oddly sticky, dirty bath towels sitting on top of the washer, food bits in the sink, toilet doesn't properly flush. Pillows smelled like actual scalp, the only redeeming part is bed was decent, and there are televisions. Everything just felt incredibly unclean. Unfortunately deceiving listing.
The first and only correspondence between myself and the renter was her commenting on my "last minute booking" after she was unable to answer my first couple of calls on check in instructions. Which I found a to be hilarious. As if I am to blame for lack of communication. I booked 2 days ahead which is shorter notice than I would typically do, but considering this is managed through a 3rd party - there's no actual excuse for the uncleanliness. Mind you, it was definitely set up for guests. Again, no matter "how last minute" you may consider a booking. (Which most would consider to be in less than 24 hour period), standards should still be done in the manner as suggested in the listing..regardless of booking time.
